Squirrel Cage Tavern

God Bless Laddy. He and my father were friends for years. Many years of memory's with a Kayo while pops had his beer.. We weren't allowed at the bar, but Laddy always took care of my pops boys. God Bless Laddy, God Bless my Pops. We Love you both forever.

I love Laddy and Steve. Great staff, great atmosphere, great drinks!

The bartender said "I like it quiet in this bar" and walked away. There were 7 women looking to have a drink so we could celebrate a 40th birthday in the local town the birthday girl grew up in. When the other customers mouth "I’m so sorry" about the service on the way out you know it wasn’t great. 5 other customers left after us.

A nice neighborhood bar that is unpretentious and has a laid-back vibe. The owner-bartender is nice to talk to and they have a small, but good selection of whiskeys. I like to come here for a neat pour of a good whiskey when I get done with my movie at Cinemark 7 Bridges.

Great place to relax and enjoy the patrons around you.

Atmosphere was decent. Didn’t try any food but the bartender seemed misanthropic and grumpy. He saw our group come in and audibly cussed under his breath, appearing deeply annoyed by our group’s presence and barking at us when we asked for a pen. He warmed up after a bit but it was surprising considering the glowing reviews…

Family owned, I highly recommend this place for a fun time!! And try the pizza!!!!! Its awesome!! The Squirrel cage is a landmark in Lisle, I absolutely love this place!!!!
