Lyric Hyperion Theater & Cafe

I've watched so many shows here, and each time, I’m never disappointed. I always watch with a smile on my face because it's such a fun experience. Seeing different artists showcase their craft makes it even more exciting.

I never saw any part of a theater. I was there on a Saturday morning while waiting to get my truck serviced down the block. The young lady behind the counter was nice and helpful. The outdoor area was quiet and nice. I think the decor and seating could use an update, but all-in- all it was a nice experience.

Awesome theater and great staff. I happened to be in the area and saw there was a comedy/puppet show that night. I wasn't going to miss something like that so I bought a ticket at the last minute. I had a wonderful time enjoying the show and made a new friend who lives in Silver Lake. He shared the area's history with me while we waited for the show. It's a very comfortable venue for everyone to enjoy a good performance. Parking can be a little rough but if you don't mind walking a few blocks, you can find a spot on the main street.

I went to The Shared Experience show on Wednesday night, and I laughed so hard. It was $5 for the first show at 8:00. I had such a great time I stayed for the second show at 9:30 too! The atmosphere is chic, the drinks are cheap, and the comedians are on fire. Some of the best improv in LA. I've seen a bunch of these comedians other places, but there is something about this room that made the show electric. I also like the little patio area outside the theater. Cute place to have coffee or a beer in the patio. I go there to meet my gal pals every couple of weeks or to chill with my dog. I finally caught one of the shows at the small theater and it’s a cool little place. A lot of small theaters don’t have concessions so that’s appreciated. Staff is always lovely and attentive.
