The Sanctuary

Very cool place. A former church that was converted to commercial property in 50s and which is being used as a place for meetings, weddings, music performances and more. I really liked the atmosphere there, I don't know how to explain why. I am not a church goer myself, but I admired the architecture. And location is quite convenient as well, just next to downtown ir even in the downtown, I don't know for sure😄

Used this space multiple times and it works great for meetings and really anything!! Peggy is super sweet and accommodating! Will continue to use this event space!

Great spot to host an event all equipment there Wi-Fi in building fridge available, sink, broom square or round tables and chairs. No microwave or oven but

Wonderful live music the last few times I went. Everybody was super sweet and welcoming. My only gripe is that the crowd was a bit much, and there could be more safety precautions put in place. I'm a minor as I was shoved into some stands because of moshers, and it caused my mom and I to leave early because of it. There were kids younger than I am there, and very close to the stage where the moshers were. Parents shouldn't have to block their kids with their bodies because people can't control themselves. Besides that, very enjoyable and cozy. The merch is usually priced cheap and I love seeing local bands come together to perform and sell their merch, especially for such a low price.

A nice intimate venue that has the right amount of character. The inside is a nice open space that you could decorate and setup without being hindered. There are two grassy spaces outside that can be utilized for seating, etc. The parking lot is small, but ample street parking. It's a bit hidden if you aren't looking for it specifically. Overall great space that I'd definitely use and recommend to others.

Went here for a play. Was really good. Facility could use a lot of improvement though. It's in an odd location. But at least there was plenty of parking. Sat on folding chairs for an hour and a half. Was a bit uncomfortable. Then again, it's an old church (I hear Zelda Fitzgerald was baptized here?) Turned into a community center. So considering, not a bad experience at all. Especially for a charity benefit.

Tried to come here with friends on new years eve and paid $20 per person for a "venue" which was a guy playing EDM on his labtop to a crowd of about 5 people that looked like they were on drugs. When realizing the grave mistake we had made coming there, we politely asked a our money back since we only stayed for a total of 4 minutes and not only did they refuse to give our money back they began to scream and cuss at several of my friends enticing a fight between us. This place is pathetic and i hope they find a better use for the building.
