BATSU!

My Gen Z daughter treated four of us to this experience for my Mom's 77th birthday last night. Batsu was funny beginning to end. The hosts and comedians were engaging, witty and upbeat. We went in with no expectations and left giggling. Everything felt personalized for the audience. A perfect time had by all. Don't hesitate- book the tickets!!!

Thank you to the entire team at Batsu, especially Jenn and Cassandra, for all of your help in making my birthday so special! I hosted a group of 30 people here, everything was seamless and surprisingly the food was very good. The performers are so talented and clever with their improv - it’s highly interactive so make sure you come with a group that’s willing to participate in the fun. Such a fun experience!

I was skeptical about this show, but I ended up trusting my friend’s judgement. Tickets are half off for Tuesday and Wednesday shows…so a good way to "test" out this event. The improv was engaging, and audiences are encouraged to participate. The performers were very talented and provided great entertainment value. The food was average, though it did satisfy our hunger. But you don’t come here for the food. Bring some friends and have a great laugh!

This place was really fun. Not your typical comedy show where they just make jokes, but more of an entertainment show. They interact with the crowd and invite people over to the stage to either dance with them or be part of the show. The team is really fun and professional. It's the perfect spot for date nights and for bigger groups. Whenever you order sale bomb shots, the server takes a shot with you. They will make sure that you leave that place with a huge smile. Everyone is literally laughing and having a blast in the room.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here with a group of 12 and had an incredible time! The show and everyone in it were absolutely hilarious. I’m still amazed that most of it was improv! The cast did a fantastic job engaging with the audience, making the experience even more memorable. The food was decent as well. I’d highly recommend this place for a fun and lively group outing!

SOOO fun!!! We went for my birthday and had a great time. It’s really impressive how fast these improv comedians work. I couldn’t stop laughing. Really fun and looking forward to going back! Also we had the vegan sushi, it was tasty.

I stumbled upon this off-Broadway show while searching for a fun experience to gift my friend—and wow, what a find! They were blown away, so we decided to check it out ourselves, and oh my god, it was so good. BATSU (which means "punishment" in Japanese) is centered around a hilarious competition where the "heroes" (the incredibly talented performers who also work at the comedy club) take on wild, often absurd challenges—and if they lose, they face some pretty entertaining punishments. The venue is small, but that’s part of the charm. It creates this intimate, immersive atmosphere where you feel super close to the action, almost like you’re part of the show. Everything is improvised, which makes it all the more impressive and unpredictable. The heroes are quick, witty, and fully committed to the bit. They offer beer, sake, and a few snacks—definitely grab a drink and just let yourself enjoy the ride. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for something a little different, a little chaotic, and a whole lot of fun.
