Mission Ave Bar and Grill

This is a really nice place in downtown Oceanside. Huge selection of beer and other drinks and a nice food menu. I like the zucchini Spears during happy hours Which is 4 to 6 on weekdays. Even though I said happy hour this is a nice place to visit. The server is always friendly and ask if you want to have a heat lamp turned on if you’re sitting on the outside patio.

Kelly was great! She made our midnight dinner extra fun. Although she needs to try a JaggerBomb due to the fact that it is the best shot ever. Lol. I would definitely recommend the food and friendly atmosphere to family and friends.

I love everything about this place. Excellent food amazing service and you can sit out under the heat lamps or inside it’s open and welcoming. They have a daily happy hour, but even outside of that the meal prices are not bad. I got the Kobe burger sliders three for $16 with a good amount of meat and a beer all for less than $25. There is plenty of street barking around for free.

Delicious food open late in Oceanside! Low lighting and spacious seating makes for a perfect place to grab a bite and chat all evening. The ribeye steak had a delicious sear and all my veggies came out perfectly cooked. The mango-tamarind squid was so tender, probably my favorite bite of the whole night. Super accommodating and friendly service as well.

I recommend to NEVER order food to go from this facility. I have lived down the street from Mission Ave for 4 years and love going there. However, tonight my husband and I placed a to go order from the restaurant. When my husband got back with the food order, we realized that my ribeye entree was completely wrong. I asked to add a sub side salad for an extra 2 dollars. However, it never mentioned that all sides would be removed with this option. The side salad was about 4 pieces of lettuce and finding out that the sides were not with it plus the steak was cooked for so long it was black was very disappointing. The entree cost us $34 dollars but honestly should have been $10 dollars for the charred meat and very tiny salad without sides. I am so sad as I do love this restaurant but not being able to speak to a hostess about this issue as their phone system said that the restaurant is not taking calls just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will NEVER order to go again and really debate if I want to eat in person again.

We took a train from OC to Ocean view for a day trip. We stopped by Mission Ave and had a fantastic experience. our server was Jordan. she was so friendly and attentive. I will look forward to returning soon.

the atmosphere here is amazing. I love every time they have live music. The food is always great and the service is awesome. Our server, Monica tolerated my father in-law like a champ! In all good humor, the old man can’t hear a thing and takes forever to make up his mind! Haa. It’s fine i just order more drinks. Thanks for supporting my vibes, Monica. Cheers!
