Faces Nightclub

Faces brings some of the best NorCal talent and Drag Race girls to the club. Everyone is so warm and friendly and the drinks are always great! Don't forget to tip your bartenders!!!

Cover is too expensive, still doesn't weed out awful clientele. Visiting as a cisqueer woman, proves a wild bear is still safer to encounter than a man in public. A gay club where the men are not actually gay and will grope your privates, unprompted while on the dance floor. Will never go back. Edit: Not well-ventilated, no one wearing masks, caught whatever mystery pneumonia illness is going around from visiting.

I was honestly really disappointed with how I was treated here. Literally gave it a few chances. The vibe inside was decent at first, music was good and the crowd seemed fun.. but the way security handled things completely ruined the night. I was kicked out by a security guard for hitting my pen, outside.. and there was zero warning. What made it worst was that while he was telling me it wasn’t allowed, he was literally hitting his own vape pen at the same time. That felt super hypocritical and honestly just disrespectful.

We tried to get in as a group of 10 but the security guard told us that she had just been notified that someone "matching the description" of someone in our party had put a Buzzball in the gutter. When we explained that we had just parked and had not come from that direction she said it didn't matter and that no one in our party was allowed in. So we went to Badlands and had a great time there. When that member of our group left for the night we tried to get into Faces again but the security guard told us that even though the "suspect" wasn't with us anymore he was still associated with us and again denied us entry. Weird little power trip by weird little people.

I really want to love this place, and I do when security is reasonable, but there is one lady who is horrible. I felt like I was judged instantly and told I wasn't allowed in because I had Lactaid pills on me. I cannot have dairy, and they were making free burgers so I brought lactaid in mind of having cheese on my burger. She said I wasn't allowed in with them and I understood. I asked her if there was somewhere I could throw them away so I could come inside but she said I wasn't allowed in at all. She was disrespectful and couldn't even look me in the eye... This place is wonderful but some of the security has really ruined Faces

Long review about a bouncer to avoid and my experiences with her. Want to report on a repeated situation with a bouncer. She was there, June 19 around midnight, shorter blonde woman. My first interaction with her I had pepper spray in my purse, looking at the rules I understand this isn’t allowed in the club but I offered to throw it away or put it in my car and she repeatedly told me I still wasn’t allowed in that night AT ALL. For being a safe space, as a LGBTQ bar, as a woman I don’t feel comfortable around downtown without having protection. I understand not bringing it in but her attitude was deplorable. I would’ve thrown it away or put it in my car as other bars have let me do but she was adamant that I wasn’t allowed in that night. I urge for there to be an option to either put things in our cars or offer a locker to keep belongings in. Furthermore, on two separate occasions I have had friends with vapes, I do think they have THC which also I believe isn’t permitted inside but both times they offered to put their devices in their cars or throw them away and she fully turned us away. I want there to be options to throw away or put our devices in our cars and still enter the bar, faces is one of my favorite places to go but this is leaving a bad taste. Across the street on the other hand, badlands is extremely accommodating. I came in with medication for UTIs and yeast infection pills in a ziplock bag which does look suspicious(I forgot I left them in my purse lol that’s on me). Despite that, the security were willing to let me explain what it was and I offered to throw them away but they graciously let me keep them at the front desk while I was in the bar. I really hope that this bouncer at faces can learn to be accommodating, empathetic and change her attitude.

Their security guard was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was kicked out of the line just because I asked the security lady to please show some respect when speaking to us. Instead of correcting her behavior, she removed me and my friends from the line. So I decided to In mango. Funny thing is, I had never been to Mango before, and it actually turned out to be a much better experience than Faces. I’m glad she sent me there, because now I know there are much better places to go. I will never go to Faces again, and I’ve already told my friends not to go either.
