Ay Que Chula

Ay Que Chula definitely met my expectations! Im from Louisiana and this spot has been in my to do list. The atmosphere and Service was excellent and the food and cocktails matched that energy. This place is bright, colorful, and fun. Our server's name was Pony and he was awesome. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Stopped by on a whim and had one of the best lunch experiences we’ve ever had. Party of 2, we went to grab some tacos and ordered the quesabirria at Ashley’s recommendation, and we’re so glad we did. The consommé was phenomenal, the portions filling, the flavors delicious. Ashley was amazing, she has the mixing skills, she has the inviting personality, and the multitasking skills to boot. It was a quiet lunch hour, and we’re now looking forward to returning for one of the many events this venue hosts.

Absolutely loved it here! I went for my birthday with family and friends and had a great time. I was even offered a free shot! Don’t even get me started on the food it was amazing!! I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking to try something new and feel free to be you while also enjoying the atmosphere and vibes.

Their environment is so cute and fun! The people here are so welcoming and outgoing. Me and my bf actually had a talk with the owner while we were there as well, he is very kind and friendly. The owner is also a veteran, we spoke to him a little about that as well, as my boyfriend is military also. We loved it so much we went twice on our trip to San Antonio. I even left my wallet here while we were on vacation & he kindly reached out to me on instagram & shipped it back to me! The food is amazing the drinks are amazing and so is the staff! I would 10/10 recommend. I’m definitely coming back to San Antonio with friends just for them to come here.

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and see the show. EVERYTHING exceeded my/our expectations. The show was excellent and the dancers were so beautiful, and so much fun, Jordan was eye candy. Executive chef, Eric, prepared the most amazing dishes for us. I would rate each dish 10+++. Pony and Chenille kept us supplied with delicious, fun drinks. Chenille was the first person I spoke to on the phone and she was also our server. From my first interaction with Chenille on the phone until we left the restaurant, Chenille was so kind, professional, fun, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our group had a fun and memorial time. Ay Que Chula is airy, colorful, and beautiful! The weather was perfect and we had a dog with us so we sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant. Chenille even made sure the dog was comfortable. Thank you Chenille and the rest of the employees for making our experience the best!

This place is a vibe. Great for dates or friend outings. It's colorful and lively and next to a bunch of bars. The food and drinks were good and they have specials. Great place to pregame. Just get your receipt cause someone added an extra tip and the manager had to clue how to rectify it.

For the past month I kindly asked if I could obtain camera footage because someone hit my car near this bar and took off…I left my information THREE times and when I talked to manager/owner he didn’t seem to care because he wrote my info on a napkin with a pen that wasn’t even working. I just knew right then and there that he didn’t care. He could’ve at least communicated with me that he wouldn’t be able to help me out instead of ignoring me. So anyway y’all be safe when coming to this establishment because I don’t think those so called security cameras out there are working. Please do better!!
