Chubby Cheeks Meadery

We drove about 1.5 hours to get here and really enjoyed the many kinds of mead and cider and description of the making of the different flavors of mead! It was well worth the trip!

Edit: My original review was wrote while the feelings of disappointment were fresh. This skewed my initial sentiments. Most of my criticism came because I was immensely let down by the show I saw and I realize I shouldn't fault Chubby Cheeks for the failures of Dumbasses and Dungeons. I had originally said the mead was bad. That was unfair. I have been spoiled by some tremendous meaderies and I should recognize Chubby Cheeks wasn't bad but just maybe wasn't my style. I tasted a cider of theirs and thought it was good but just wasn't why I went there. For the good, the staff was friendly and helpful and the decor in bathroom (I know, odd thing to mention) made me laugh. I changed my review to a 3 star because the mead there was not my thing. I had heard good things about Chubby Cheeks from another meadery but I remember now that I only enjoy one or two leads from them. While they, may not be my preferred meadery, it may be good for some others. Original: Went for Dumbasses and Dragons. The mead was about a step above homebrew. I make my own and the traditional I tried made my say "mine but sweeter". The show had comedians. Only 1 was good. 1 had funny parts. The other two just weren't good.

I love this place. They put on so many great events that are different from other venues. Glad we have a place willing to do provide entertainment and great mead. Cheers!

Welp you gotta come and try it. I had no prior knowledge of meade but I will definitely seek out other meaderies now that I've had it. It's a unique taste and quite addicting. They have board games and some snacks. Not sure if other food is sold. It's in a business center, so beware of reserved parking spots. Jason was amazing and quite knowledgeable, both in pizza recommendations and Meade. Everything he recommended was tasty. Avoid the extra honey brewed Meade if you don't care for the taste of honey. I got 5 flights, enjoyed Freckles and the Guava cider the most. I also sampled the Dark Cherry and Espresso meade, which was so beautiful. Omg I wish I was drinking again because I would have left with a 6 pk of that one. Shockingly refreshing and that espresso at the end was smooth and pleasing to my taste buds. A must try Will come back. Tip your bartenders please

Tasty mead, cool spot with great decor. The vibe is unique and the atmosphere is solid. Definitely a place I’d recommend checking out if you’re into something different and laid-back.

We loved it!!! I loved all 5 of my tastings…so crazy unique!! The menu selections were excellent. Between the 3 of us we almost got all the options covered. We loved the music, free candy, and games available. We played a round of cards against humanity and was the perfect complement to enjoy our flight. Will be back and highly recommend:)

OMG!! This place has new owners! And I'm freaking loving it!! The mead is still so tasty, delicious! Tonight they had a pop stand in Menifee and they did not disappoint, funny engaging staff and the mead on a portable tap, freaking delicious! Had to buy the bottle to take home! Great job guys!!
