Level 5 at City Stage

I was here for a Neebs Gaming event in the middle of January. The bar is fantastic with reasonably priced drinks and a great bartender. Nothing beats the view as you have an open rooftop view of both the river and the Battleship North Carolina. The theater is small compared to the Palace, but it is far larger than I was expecting to see in a bar scene. The sound quality was amazing and there was absolutely no stuffiness that you sometimes get in small theaters. I'm not sure I'd enjoy the open-aired bar as much in the humid summer months, but I can say the dead of winter was spectacular. Also note: the elevator works, it is slow and just takes a while. I didn't know until I walked all the flights of stairs and got to the top just as I heard the doors ding open.

Bouncers turned us away at door and let another group in a minute later. Don’t bother trying to go in if you don’t fit certain demographics.

Went out to bars and ended up not leaving this one for 2 hours! Had so much fun, DJ was great 🙂 and so was the pineapple malibu

Ali was the BEST bartender!! She made us feel so welcome. Drinks were reasonably priced, views were nice, and there was a DJ. Overall recommend a visit.

It's a great atmosphere. It overlooks the river you can see the battleship USS North Carolina cross from it and they have live music on Sunday nights plus I work here so you can come and see me

Didn’t eat here but it’s a cool bar. Great view over the water and the city. Drinks were average priced and it was not overly crowded but I did go on a Tuesday night. This bar is closed on Monday’s

Nice relaxed rooftop bar. Serves no food.
