12/27/2025: I attended a "Plate Party" with friends this past Saturday. I had no idea what to expect for a plate party. For those unfamiliar, it's basically like a loyalty club with FSDE. You get a plate added to the ceiling/wall and a reveal special for you. FSDE gives you a certain amount of free drinks and food for your party. It's pretty interesting how it works. They have a cool app to track everything. Bella was our waitress. She kept the drinks flowing with ease and a smile. There were about 15-17 of us throughout the time we spent there for the party. They brought out hot wings and quesadillas. I am not a wing person, so I stayed with the quesadillas. They were delicious! I really liked the flavor and they were fairly large (especially for a "free" party). Everyone was really nice and we had a great time. I am not a fan of places in town/city centers, as they are so hard to park in and you have a lot of traffic, but I did enjoy this place. We UBERED, so that helped since we were dropped off and picked up right at the entrance. FSDE has a nice long semi covered patio with benches. Great for outdoor seating like sunny days and unseasonably warm days like we've had lately. Again, the place overall was good. It's just not my preferred area of town, nor type of venue. If you like pub style bars, you will probably like this place.
This was such a unique restaurant with a great food. The margarita was perfect and the chicken bowl was delicious. Right amount of food too, so didn't feel stuffed.
This was a great place for happy hour. The food and drinks were pretty good. The Buffalo chicken wings were very tasty. It came with carrot and celery sticks and choice of ranch or blue cheese. The burger and sweet potato fries were good as well. The service was a bit slow at times but very friendly. The decor is fun and festive. There are plates all over the walls. Parking was free and easy in the garage nearby.
Wide selection of beers from all over the world and pretty good food. Great place for a group happy hour and hanging out with friends. Tons of craft beers on tap from all over the US and world. Service was very friendly and helpful in navigating the vast beer options. They will also give you a small taste to help you decide between a couple of options. Service was a little inconsistent. Our waitress was attentive most of the time but there were also large gaps in time where she was busy with other tables. Not that big of a deal since we were hanging out of several hours. Decent food selection. We got the burger and that was tender and juicy. There’s decent amount of outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
This is about my fifth time rating the Saucer. That should tell you that I'm more than satisfied enough to be a regular. . This time, they were having a corporate event for 80+ people and were handling it easily. They had a buffet layout that I'd never seen before (check my most recent photos of the Saucer). It was incredible. The only thing I saw missing was the platter of bacon I've enjoyed recently. They are more than ready to accommodate your needs if possible.
Definitely a go to place for great beer. Sign up to register your beer purchases to earn a plate to be placed on the wall or ceiling. 200 unique beers and you get a plate and a party. Food is above average. We often times order a pizza cooked extra crisp or a pretzel. It's possible to get an off menu plate of bacon if you're not worried about heart attacks. The waitstaff is always excellent.
If you go here, stick to the beer. This was the first time in my LIFE I (or anyone I've ever known or seen) had to send back a simple cocktail. It was undrinkable. And no it wasn't anything crazy or new to me, a very classic cocktail. Beer's great, apps are great, servers were wonderful.
