Frankie's

I’m always curious about my surroundings, so I stayed at The Brick Hotel. Downstairs, I noticed a bar called Frankies that looked like a good spot to kill some time before heading to bed. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday night. As soon as I got in, I had to line up for drinks. The service was just okay not too shabby. I asked the bartender to surprise me with a drink based on their recommendation, but it ended up having too much ice, so I couldn’t really taste it. It was alright, though. I left after about 20 minutes I didn’t end up staying long.

Cozy whiskey bar in downtown Oceanside! Loved their holiday menu and trust their regular menu would be just as good! Special thanks to Zane who took care of us!

Update: (after my third visit) you're simply the best, better than all the rest The new menu is so creative and amazing. Frankie's makes some really excellent cocktails. Try the Silent Radio for a tasty mezcal drink. The bartender was very knowledgeable and knew how to make wonderful drinks.

It's a great place to get drinks! They also have events that they serve event specific cocktails that are fun and delicious!

For the price they charge, anyone behind the bar should be able to make a Negroni.

I just saw this place on a list of the top 15 cocktail bars in San Diego, so we stopped in for a couple of cocktails to see what all the fuss is about. I totally get it. Looking forward to returning to trying some different cocktails.
