Funky Town Comics & Vinyl

One of my very favorite places in the Syracuse area! It's a one-stop shop for just about everything cool: comics (current runs, back issues, collected editions), toys (superhero, Star Wars, horror), records (vintage and new releases). And the members of the Funky Town team are real-life superheroes: welcoming to all, deeply knowledgeable, and generous with the time and attention they give their customers. You all rock!

They always have fresh new and used vinyls, and are happy to play anything that's unsealed so you can hear it before you buy it. There is something from every genre and era here. They have a diverse comic section as well. Great people to hang around and chat music or whatever with.

Funky Town Camillus is my main store but anytime I make it up to Cicero I stop in. I can find something every time I go to either store. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. I urge everyone to stop in and check it out.

Expansive comic book inventory, and expertly knowledgeable staff to answer any specific questions and always warmly welcoming of all guests and customers. Live in-store musical artists perform on special occasions! I was thrilled with the finds I made (Jim Carroll's 'Catholic Boy' album in mint condition for $6, new RKS second album for approximately $30, local musicians album of popular covers for $2, and a delicious shaved iced sundae)! The vibe was super fun! I made new friends and picked up other friends to join the good time! Come check out the coolest store in Syracuse.

I’ve only been in the store twice, but the staff already recognized me and had my preordered comics ready to go! The service here is fantastic—friendly, personal, and organized. It’s great to shop somewhere that takes care of its customers and remembers you. Highly recommend for any comic fan!

BEST vinyl stores in the Syracuse area!! They have such a good mix of new abs used I almost always leave with at least 5 new records each visit. The comics are even bigger and have really anything you are looking for new or old. The staff is extremely helpful and gives great advice. If you are a seasoned vinyl vet OR just getting started this is the place to go. PLUS THEIR REWARDS PROGRAM IS EXTREMELY GENEROUS!
