This store is extremely customer service oriented. I had an excellent experience in store and was very impressed with the knowledge and variety the store offered. I was a vendor at the anniversary but before that I was a customer, it’s extremely nostalgic and modern mixed just right. It has something for everyone! The thing I appreciate the most is the people who work there that are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my experience with Bobby and team and all 5 star customer service. They will answer your questions and get you what you are looking for! No funny business or sales sharks! All honest business and I appreciate and praise that! I was also able to complete my Pokemon collection thanks to this store!

I had the honor of vending at Gamer Life for their 2nd year anniversary game swap. I have visited Gamer Life before the event and the store has a good variety of video-games, consoles, trading cards, and plushies. The event brought in a lot of people from all over the Northern CA and Bay Area regions. It was a great time being a vendor for Gamer Life. Made a lot of new friends and even saw familiar faces. Bobby, the owner, is a great store owner who is there for the gaming community. Doing these game swaps brings in the community a bit closer. For anyone in the Yuba City area, definitely check Gamer Life out.

TLDR;; They have a good selection and items I haven’t seen at other game stores. They had an event where I was able to vend at and it was friendly, clean, and well organized. Owner was kind and considerate! A place I would shop and vend at again! I stop by occasion when I go to the Yuba City Marketplace and honestly, it’s always nice to see what they have in stock. My husband who goes with me will walk in and browse for a bit which gives me an opportunity to run to the next door hobby lobby if I need to. Their prices are reasonable and I personally love their selection of items. I think an item I keep eyeing is a EVO Moment Frame they have that I just don’t have the space for, lul. They also host streams on WhatNot and you can get some really nice gems in their streams too! Recently, they had the opportunity for vendors to sell their products at a weekend event they host in front of their store (i think every quarter/season) and I was able to join in! It was cleanly hosted, the owner was sweet, brought donuts the morning of, and would walk around checking in on everyone. For my first event in a more public space, I felt extremely comfortable by the vibe their shop/area gave off! I hope I get to go back soon at their next event as a vendor 😀

Great selection, great staff, friendly owner. I have shopped at this establishment numerous times for different reasons. I purchased my Dreamcast console here, along with trading games and consoles I no longer use and even having some of my scratched up games resurfaced. Every time has been a great experience. While she no longer works there anymore, Jinx was awesome!

I was privileged to make a purchase from this shop before it became a physical store. During 2021, when Covid had almost everyone stay at home, people were looking to buy their beloved childhood games. I was looking for Pokemon Sapphire Version and somehow this shop popped up for me on Instagram. I took a chance on it by buying the game. The game was labeled as slight cosmetic flaws but honestly I think it had a good label. Fast-forward a couple years, I bought a refurbished Sega Saturn. I didn’t realize how expensive some of the good fighting games were but luckily Bobby, the store owner, hooked me up with two Sega Saturn games to get me started. How many places do that?! Ever since he showed me lots of care with my purchases, I’ve bought a few Games here and there to continue showing my support for this awesome business. As of now, he has a physical store which means prices will go up due to the cost of running a physical store. This man is like family to me, a big brother in gaming, and a provider of quality game systems, games, and accessories.

My interactions with staff at this little shop have always been positive. Fair trade values for the niche items that I brought in. Sega Saturn! All the games are typically in pristine condition.

The store is clean, and has a lot of gaming related merchandise. It also has a lot of cool and unique things in there like an NES Deluxe set, a 3DO, a Virtual Boy, stuff like that. It also has a Switch to play on. However, it's a very tiny store, and there aren't any price tags on the games. I asked the one employee and he wanted $40 for Pokemon Puzzle League when it's around $25 on Pricecharting, and then he wanted $50 for Dragon Warrior III on the Game Boy Color which is about what it goes for, then he said the NES Deluxe set would be over $1,000. That goes for $600-$700, so a big markup from the usual value. Because the products are unmarked, and the prices are all over the place, I wouldn't come here again.
