Fantastic craft cocktail lounge with serious attention to detail. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing — they make many of their own syrups, tinctures, and house infusions, and the quality really comes through in each drink. Their featured cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and nothing feels mass-produced. What really sets this place apart is their "bartender call" uniquely-designed cocktails. You can tell them what flavors or spirits you like and they’ll build something custom for you. It makes the experience feel unique, intentional, and special every time. The atmosphere is welcoming with a small-town feel, but the drinks are on par with what you’d expect in a much bigger city. Highly recommend if you’re looking for inventive cocktails, knowledgeable bartenders, and a relaxed but polished vibe.

KAO is the place to go if you appreciate a wonderfully concocted cocktail made every time you order. KAO does not have bar tenders, they have mixologists that have a passion for curating the perfect cure for a long week. If you are a bourbon/whiskey lover, my friend this is place for you. The Lincoln is fantastic. They also make delightful seasonal drinks and will create a special cocktail for you based on your preferences. The atmosphere is low key, sophisticated and relaxing. This is a great place to unwind with your loved one or friends.

A huge shout out to the world's greatest bartender in Abilene! Thank you Caleb for not making it awkward for a girl that's doing a dry January. Literally made the best mocktail ever! If you ever find yourself wondering where to go on a Friday night go to the KAO lounge and look for Caleb, he'll take care of you! Make you leave those tips too!!!!

Ambar is an amazing bartender at KOA Lounge. She was friendly, professional, and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Her positive attitude and welcoming vibe made the whole experience even better. You can tell she takes pride in her craft and truly cares about her guests. If you’re at KOA Lounge, definitely sit at the bar with Ambar – she will take great care of you and make your night memorable.

The entrance is in the alley. When you walk in it's a very cozy and classy. The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgeable on there cocktails. I had a Lavander bliss and espresso cocktail. The lavander bliss had the perfect balance of flavors. The espresso was made with a cold brew and topped with 2 dry espresso beans.

This place is AMAZING and the staff is IMPRESSIVE AND FRIENDLY! We can’t believe we have been coming to Abilene for 3 years since our daughter started school here and have not been here before. We can’t wait to get back to Abilene and visit again. The atmosphere is laid back and drinks delicious. Next time we will try the food. This place is doing it right! Thank you Colby, Chris, Kaleb and Alejandra for a great time and for making our visit wonderful!

We stopped here tonight for a date night. We were super pleased at the quality of drinks and great service. We come from a big city and were totally excited to see such a great place close to our hotel room. Too bad we won’t return to Abilene for a few months. Look forward to another visit.
