Pros: It’s outdoor (rooftop) so it’s amazing in hot weather or once you’ve been dancing. The music is good and they play a lot of good music. Also the paintings are very nostalgic for millennials. Cons: The drinks were VERY watered down. To the point that we stopped ordering them from the bar & just went to the bar next door to drink and then came back to dance. The first DJ that was there would only take requests for money. This was the beginning of the night when it was just a bachelorette group and me and my 2 friends. We noticed as multiple people went to request songs and they were informed they had to pay. This was fine until we noticed other people requesting songs and they were not being charged. The difference was the ones who were told only for pay were white and the ones who were played without fees were African American. My group (of different races) decided to test it and the theory proved true. Then the first DJ said "Last call for Happy hour!" So we went to the bar and we were told there was no happy hour. If you take it for a throw back dance area, it’s great. I don’t know that I would go back for a night out but I would stop by for a song or two if already out.

Coconut on the weekends is always a great night for photos! Great staff, great music, great DJ’s! FYI, Usually a cover and sometimes a line, so be prepared to pay a small door fee!

I went with my friend’s last night for DJ Hexxxgf’s set (amazing 10/10 please book her more she’s so gorgeous and also talented and had everybody moving and I’m in love with her but that’s besides the point) the people were dancing, the staff was great, the vibes we bonkers good. At least they were for me until I fully missed the step coming out of their side seating area on the rooftop and went tumbling down into the pit. I felt my ankle pop and crack in a manner that I have never heard it pop and crack before. Got up and was fine but definitely felt like I was going to pass out and needed to sit down, the bar staff were kind and quickly gave us an ice pack (my saving grace) which helped me not want to pass out and fix my ankle enough so I could walk. I was fully sober and worried that the staff would think me falling and almost passing out was from hitting the libations a bit too hard but they honestly saved me and the staff checked to make sure I wasn’t falling asleep in the booths which I’m sure was to make sure no one was sleeping in their place of business but I appreciate it nonetheless.

Last night, I had to report something about a customer at the bar and the kindness, swiftness, and urgency to respond accordingly was impressive. Thank you for keeping people safe and advocating for customers. It really made our girl group have a new sense of hope with how the team of men were so attentive and ready to do the right thing. Gushing over your security and bartender!!!!! Coconut club stan forever.

Amazing club! We had the most fun out of all of the clubs we went to on sixth street here. 100% recommended

Overwhelming waste of time and money. The music they play is some of the plainest most boring stuff I've ever heard. Everything was sticky and the music was so loud a good number of the speakers were blown out so the quality was pretty poor. It's not even like they played metal or anything. It's all bargain bin dubstep at best. I paid $20 and stayed for an hour, easily the worst way I could have spent my money. I didn't even get a drink because they offered primarily just canned American beer and seltzer. I went home and drank my own alcohol afterward and had a much better time. 0/10 will never go again and I will warn my friends to never go as well. This place is bland, lame, and super packed.
