I'll swing back for a final chapter; but after 2 visits, I understand the vibe. The first visit; I had figured out enough where as I can confidently write that the "affliction" based owner gave off weird vibes as his wife (the baretender) casually shot the shit with me acquiring my drink order. Not once but twice; his vibes weren't cool. The atmosphere otherwise was chill, a needed change for the area. PS: You never know your audience; don't scare your customers off. See you soon.

Great place to hang out with friends and just have a great time! Great Drinks! Great Staff!! Great Music and other fun filled events! The Soggy Bottom Saloon is truly a local 💎! The renovations the owner has made to this place has really created a fun adult atmosphere!

Good atmosphere, but extremely slow bar service. They're understaffed. Paid the admission fee, immediately went to the bar and stood at the bar for 45 minutes and never got served. Others were served, some that had arrived after. I waited patiently, until I finally gave up and we left. Couldn't even play pool because we needed quarters. Prices are decent, tables are good, but you'll wait forever for bar service on busy nights. And to John Forse's review that claims all the negative reviews are one group, what a joke. I've been twice, the first time was good since we were there with a friend of the owner's. We got poor service until she realized who we were with. The second time it was just my wife and I, and was what caused this review. My wife has been back several times since and enjoys it, but I will not. There's no "conspiracy" giving bad reviews, they are all rightly earned. Trying to silence the truth doesn't make it not true.

Great place and atmosphere. Don't pay any attention to the bad reviews those guys are a group that didn't follow the rules. The owner Bobby is a great guy Angel the bartender is really sweet and works really hard. I was there last night and a guy was doing karaoke I was walking around him and his back was turned and he swung his arm out and hit me in the face. Total accident. I wasn't mad. My nose was bloodied. But a guy made sure I was alright. I cleaned up in the restroom. When I came out the owner made sure I was ok and gave me 2 coupons for a free drink. This is a great place. And very nice people. And great drink prices too.

You don’t have to leave town to go out, this place makes you feel like you’re sitting in your own back yard. The live music is always great and if you’re not into that there’s usually karaoke or bingo, etc going on as well. The drinks are good the staff has always treated us great, shout out to Angel for always being a sweetheart, they are always paying respect to first responders and veterans 🫡 I recommend this place if you’re looking for the back home hotspot to have a little fun.

Place is shady. Cash only bar. They do not serve liquor, only beer, wine, and shots. Bar is not closed off to the outside so when it's hot outside, it's hot inside, cold outside, cold inside. AC/Heat cannot compensate. Outside patio and new stage is nice, but the inside is small and doesn't have enough seating. The owner likes to pick and choose who he wishes to ban for the evening at will. Parking lot is also a nightmare. Just go ahead and skip this bar... Only went a few times to support a band I love to watch. Won't be going back. ##TeamZito

Two stars and not 1 because we like the place, usually good bands and fun to dance. Should be MINUS 1 star for bar service. The staffing is terrible and the wait is too long to get a drink (that isn't even a mixed drink). The girls who are working the bar are working hard, but they are simply not enough for the crowd. Hire.More.People.
