As someone who lived in Korea for four years, I’ve really struggled to find truly good Korean BBQ in the U.S. Since moving here, nothing quite measured up — until this place. I’ve been twice already. The second time I brought my spouse just to make sure I wasn’t overly excited after the first visit — and it absolutely held up. They offer an unlimited all-you-can-eat option (we went for the late dinner slot, around 9 p.m. to midnight). You grill everything at your table, with unlimited choices of pork and beef. My favorite was samgyeopsal — the classic Korean three-layer pork belly with the perfect balance of fat and meat. You also get unlimited rice, salads, kimchi, and a variety of panchan (Korean side dishes). Everything was very good. The meat quality seemed excellent — perfect thickness and cut, grilled beautifully. The panchan selection was fresh and flavorful. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. This is officially my new favorite Korean BBQ spot in the Seattle area. Price was $28 per person before tax, fees, and tip — about $80 total for two — which felt very reasonable for the quality and unlimited option.
I visited this place a couple of years ago and had a mediocre experience. At the time, we ordered à la carte, and I personally wasn't a fan of the staff grilling for us; it felt like they were rushing us to finish. This time, I returned with several friends to try their All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) option, but the experience was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the service was lacking—perhaps they were understaffed. We placed our orders via the tablet, but the portions were tiny and many items we ordered never arrived. We even had to track down the staff just to get our sodas. Given how many great Korean BBQ options there are in the Seattle area, I won’t be returning here. There are much better places to spend your money. The only major plus is that the building offers three hours of free parking in downtown Bellevue.
Used to be a big fan of Woobling. I considered it a better version of Baekjeong when comparing their beef combos. However, went this week and was sorely disappointed by the quality and taste of the meat. The beef cuts were really fatty and full of ligaments making them rubbery and hard to chew. The seasoned kalbi which is usually the highlight was WAY too sweet. Seriously our throats were burning from the sweetness. The only cuts that were decent were the chadol and the steak with butter. The doenjang jigae was good. The rice was very cheap quality. Sides like the green onion are now charged for refills. Service was quick and efficient.
It’s a sad place. Don’t come if you want good KBBQ. The non stick pan is not able to get a good sear on the meat. It’s a waste of meat and money. The soufflé egg is not authentic and kinda gross.
the presentation looks just as good as the food tastes, especially the wagyu stake if you put salt on it!! it’s soo yum along with everything else, i’m a picky eater and this was an amazing experience. everything came so quick so we got to eat when we wanted to:) 10/10, would recommend!! photo below is the wagyu steak:)
I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant but the meats and the banchan were just so disappointing. the meats were inconsistent, some were chewy, some were tough, the only good thing on the menu was the wagyu but you could only get 1 per person, and the banchan just weren't that great either. all in all, just not worth your money.
Seattle Bellevue is a very livable town. But I don't understand how there is such a poor Korean BBQ restaurant here. I'm worried that the guests who come here will be disgraced in Korea. It was the last place I wanted to go again. My family and I ordered a 135 meat set menu and alcohol and had to wait a long time. First, the meat grill was electrified, so the heat didn't come up, so it didn't cook well, so we had to wait a long time. I called the staff several times because I thought there was a problem, but they didn't come right away. In the case of seasoned ribs on the set menu, if the seasoning burns and sticks to the grill, the grill must be changed or cleaned, but they didn't provide such service at all. Of course, I didn't even mention how to grill the meat or how to grill it. Eventually, I called the staff several times, but they didn't come, so I was very angry and complained. Only then did a person who said he was the boss apologize and gave me a parselard that he was selling for $5 as a service. I've never seen a Korean BBQ restaurant that sells pa-salad separately without refilling it. Other places nearby offer it for free. When I asked the boss why he didn't give me parsalad for free, he said that's because the price of scallions has risen so much. When you receive this ridiculous service and pay later, you've set a default tip of 20% to 35%. It was ridiculous. These restaurants should be gone. I never want to visit again.
