Customer Reviews
Tally Ho Tavern has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 based on over 641 reviews on Google
Absolutely disappointing. A male went into the female bathroom and a security guard was standing right outside the bathroom and did not do anything about it before and after the person walked out. The fact that I had noticed an increase security presence and this did not create a safer culture. 12-19-25 Just adding they have now banned me from the bar for leaving an honest review of our experience. Please see my wife’s comment of her experience which is why I wrote the comment in the first place to protect my wife and other women. 12-20-25 If you observe the cameras, you know we are not lying. The point of the review was to have nobody else experience that and we would have been more than happy to have a civil conversation instead of getting banned. I did not wish to identify my wife in the first review to protect her but she felt now that she had to express the truth as well. We have no issues with the bartenders at all, they are amazing people there who know us. As well as the karaoke with Jarret Jay is an amazing person and we always have great experiences with him. The review meant to shed light on this issue and if we could insure that it would never happen again then we could focus back on the positive experiences we had. Once again please do not accuse us of lying (all you have to do is review the cameras or ask the people who were there or the security guard) When you would like to have a civil and respectful conversation, the door is open.
They have a big screen with lyrics up so everyone in the room can participate in karaoke, which is nice. Makes it easy to participate if you think you don't have a good singing voice. There's an easy paper system for adding requests. However, half the time the lyrics are only on the very bottom of the screen, so if you're in the back, it's useless. They would repeatedly play very short clips of banger songs, cutting off the groove (seriously, only playing 15 seconds of Everytime We Touch is criminal). Wide, open dance floor with tables and chairs on the sides. But the floor is soooo sticky that dancing becomes a tad difficult. After an hour, I think my shoes picked up enough (of presumably spilled alcohol) that moving got smoother. Nice bartender. Rude bouncer. There was no hook in the bathroom stall. The women's bathroom only has a trashcan OUTSIDE the stall, so you have to awkwardly carry your used menstrual products out to the sink and just like hold it in your hand or put in on the floor when using the toilet.
My husband wrote a true experience of how a random man went into the female bathroom while I was in the stall and there was a security guard outside during the incident who did nothing about it. The manager commented on my husbands review saying that a male employee came in the women’s bathroom to unclog a toilet but that never happened because I was physically in the stall when he claims this happened. What actually happened was a male customer came in the bathroom while I was in the stall. As a result, they banned my husband from entering the bar for leaving a factual review. They did not try to offer a reason why and try to speak it out or apologize about the incident but immediately kicked him out the bar. 12/20/25 If you observe the cameras, you know we are not lying. Why would we lie about something like this when we have had positive experiences here. The manager doesn’t care about the customers instead went back and forth on google reviews being defensive and not try to have a civil conversation. not sure why…
The redecorating has done a lot for this place. It's a major improvement from the layout that they had with double booths. The staff is friendly and fast. As far as the food it's good bar food, but if you get the club chicken sandwich fried. Know that is like only lightly dusted with fry batter and feels and tastes like it's grilled. Best way I found to fix it is have a friend order the chicken fingers, because those are actually fried.
Came here for New Year’s Eve and was really disappointed. The DJ completely killed the countdown by turning off the music and talking for almost a full minute before midnight, which left everyone awkwardly standing around packed shoulde -to shoulder. The music selection throughout the night was also very poor and didn’t match the energy of a NYE crowd at all. he just sucked. On top of that, the venue became uncomfortably crowded with no crowd control. which i get it’s new year’s eve but jesus christ put some effort in . groups would block movement entirely, and it felt impossible to get around. Ventilation was also an issue the space quickly became unpleasant. Overall, not a great experience and not what you’d expect for a New Year’s Eve event.
Bar crawl started at 2pm and their dance floor didn't open until 10pm Psychotic But at least their drinks are cheap
I had a blast tonight. Bartenders and bouncers were super friendly. They were playing hip hop and some deep house. Dj was on point, and it had a sick vibe.
