Amazing bar with good food and many options. In the evenings the music is a bit too loud for me, but during the day, I came back for a burger and that was the best one I had in a very long time. I’ll be back soon.

I mean, it’s Bukowski’s! It’s a bit of an institution. It’s been here for as long as I can remember, through my grad school days and the birth of my children (the kids are in college now). It’s very loud. It’s good beer. It’s very loud. Did I mention it’s very loud? They play full albums, which is nice, so you can get into the groove of something. It’s the place to go when you’re feeling upbeat, after a Berklee concert, and you don’t mind crowds, and you just need a pint and a big dose of energy! The beer list has improved over the years. They’ve got a nice selection on tap but also some good high gravity and some other items. Again, it’s an institution! Come in just for the vibe and a pint. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this pub/tavern! Absolute gem with delicious food, a full bar, including beer tap and wine. The service was excellent! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable and had a Boston charm. I enjoyed the chicken, Caesar wrap and wine. Next time I’ll definitely come for an ale. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, the perfect combination!

So far, my favorite bar I've been to in Boston. Divey in all the right ways. Vinyl records spinning and obscure beers. Love it love it love it.

The name says it all. Exit one of Boston’s most expensive areas to shop and live and enter into a World Class level beer/dive bar! The Bartender was also the DJ and kept the place bumping, the food was super tasty and the customers very engaging and approachable! (Hey Johnny!) Ask about the hanging mugs with numbers and dead authors etched on them. If you’re in Boston for a few months, Bukowski’s has a challenge for you.

Great food, beloved bar with excellent selection. However, the service kinda sucks. I get it’s one of those "service with attitude" joints, but the past 2-3 times I’ve been in, I’ve been ignored for ages while hoping to put in a food order…or pay my check…or get another round. Prob won’t be coming back given how much they make you wait even on slow nights.

Loved ever second of this place visiting from out of town. Beer, cider, music, service and food were all really great. Awesome place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Thanks for a great time.
