Fool's Errand

Went during a slow Sunday! It’s a small place hard to find but the space is adorable and chic!! The bartender was amazing and attentive! His cocktails are creative, will blow your mind! Highly recommend if you’re in the fenway area

The atmosphere is so beautiful and cozy it feels like a little hideaway. The vibe is always warm and inviting, and it’s the kind of spot you could stay in for hours without realizing it. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the bar manager. Truly one of the best in the business… he’s personable and just a joy to chat with. He always remembers me and you can tell they care deeply about the experience and it absolutely shows.

We went on a Sunday evening and had a great time. You can miss the door if you're not looking, we kind of walked right by at first. Small and quaint inside with vibey chandeliers and lighting. The service was excellent, drinks were perfect. I prefer to drink hot water and the bartender boiled water for me. Just whipped out a pot...I was like no way!! Forever grateful, LOL! Bathroom decor is worth checking out too!

Truly great place for apéro! Interesting selection of cocktails and loved the idea to create your own based on the flavors/spirits! The style of the place is confusing and feels like a bit of everything. I understand if they tried to play around its name but after all feels like super random design choices. Great to meet up with friends before dinner but wouldn’t choose it as a romantic spot. P.s. empty glasses symbolize great conversations inspired by drinks; second picture is the first thing you see in the bathroom 😉

Fool's Errand has always been my go-to neighborhood bar. I recently started going back, and it reminded me why I love it so much. The space has a retro vibe, the snacks are unique and fun, the cocktails are always on point and the music is great. Giancarlo, the main bartender, really stands out. He is welcoming, remembers everyone's drink order, and goes above and beyond with allergies, which I really appreciate. It's the kind of place that feels familiar in the best way and keeps you coming back. Plus, trying their "choose your own adventure" drinks is half the fun! 10/10 recommend!!

I stopped into Fool’s Errand during the holidays, and it was a standout among several places I visited. The service was absolutely top-notch from the moment I sat down, especially from Giancarlo behind the bar. He’s the kind of bartender you actually enjoy talking to ~ friendly, attentive, and clearly knows his craft. After a run of holiday stops with drinks that were either flat or just plain uninspiring, Fool’s Errand was a breath of fresh air. The drinks here were well-made, balanced, and actually looked as good as they tasted. Add in the warm, lively ambiance, and it felt like exactly the kind of place you want to settle into for a while. If you’re really looking for a great drink, great vibes, and service that makes you feel welcome, Fool’s Errand is absolutely the place to go. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be looking for Giancarlo at the bar. ✨🍸

Visited fool's errand last week from NYC and i was really happy we found this gem in Fenway. Cocktails were on point, crafted and delicious. I had the orchard it and the L train ( i have to have it since i am from NY ) both were great. Giancarlo runs the program and boy he was attentive, fast and just easy to talk to. I wll be coming back soon !
