Went to this "club" last night and a random man waved me over to his VIP section. I walked over behind the couch he was sitting on to see what he wanted and the security immediately started freaking out banging on the end of the couch yelling at me that I could not go behind the couch of the section very rude and aggressively. I immediately responded by walking towards him, away from the area he told me not to be in and I simply said "Hey, I’m sorry, I don’t come here often I didn’t know, calm down you don’t have to be so angry" and because I said that he demanded that I leave the club immediately or that he was going to call the police on me. It was so bizarre and completely unwarranted. As a woman I’ve never had any man be so angry with me so quickly for absolutely no reason. My friend tried to reason with him as she obviously did not want me to get kicked out of the club and he responded by telling us that we need to move quicker and following very closely behind her down the stairs as we were walking out. Not going to lie, at this point my friend was very upset because we had just got there and paid $20 to get in. He followed us all the way out of the club and proceeded to act like he was calling the cops on us for being outside of the club and still standing on the sidewalk. I will never come back to this establishment again. The very few times I have been here, the music always sucks, the DJ last night was terrible and this particular security guard (big guy with a bald head) is clearly having some very severe power struggle issues and is way too comfortable abusing his authority. I only went here last night because my friend wanted me to and I definitely would have spent plenty of money in there just trying to have a good time but the bouncer was wayyy to excited to kick me out of somewhere I already didn’t even want to be. No way to run a business in my opinion. I’m not sad, not mad, not bothered, went to another party that I actually wanted to be at and had a great time. I just don’t like incredibly rude people and I want you to know what your bouncer is up to.

I used to really love this place and would go every time I was downtown. It had such a good vibe, and a big part of that was thanks to Toby — he was always awesome, but I haven’t seen him around lately, so I’m guessing he doesn’t work there anymore. He also made the best drinks ever, pineapple upside down cake! Since the management changed, things have gone downhill. The new management and the bouncer are just plain rude. It’s disappointing because I genuinely liked coming here, but now it feels uncomfortable — and that’s not how you want to feel at a place you used to enjoy. I know I’m just one customer and it doesn’t matter to them, but it’s still frustrating. That said, Anna is the best!! She makes the best drinks and is always super friendly. I hope all the best though and at least I made good memories here!

Voodoo is where you wanna go if you want to dance! Located on 3rd st above Judges! You can rent this place out for a private party or work event! The staff is always on it! Highly recommend going here! Better yet they are getting new carpet and if you are a local you understand what I’m talking about!

Brooke the new manager is rude like very rude gives judgmental looks at you while your dancing with friends. Also the drinks have gone way down hill since the new management like does anyone not know how to make a jolly rancher drink it's not that hard and then raising the prices and or changing the fact once u pay to get in you have to pay to get in again if you leave just for a cigarette which is mind blowing to me and then just noticed that the good crew that made the place fun is no longer there which makes the place not voodoo anymore!!

Stopped in last Friday and was very impressed with the changes, most notably security, which takes the job serious, the general manager has a great team of employees, and the bar seems to be updated. Myself and friends had a great time!

Always plenty of friendly staff and the vibes are great. Brooke crushed the bottle service even told us the best spot in the house. Fun spot!

Great place to chill out early in the evening and night club atmosphere after midnight. Service is excellent, Brooke Hannah are awesome!
