Prickly Elder

Hit this spot after a drink next door. It was fine... nothing to write home about. I didn't feel super welcome as the few people at the bar all seemed to know each other and the bartender wasn't overly friendly. The music was good and I digged the vibe (imagine if your cool grandma had a cute speakeasy by the beach.) I didn't get too creative, just grabbed a Dos Equis (as they didn't have much by way of beer options) and called it a night.

whoever was in charge was clearly beyond intoxication and told the bartenders not to serve us for some reason that wasn’t clear to us. It was 8pm and he kept saying it was morning. so odd

This place is fun. It's like not even El Paso any more when you step inside. Every one is having a good time.

Cool little bar near downtown El Paso. They have different DJ's all the time from hip hop, house, reggae and more.

The shot glasses are so cute. This place looks like a grandmas house that somebody is throwing a party at. Super fun vibe. Also monarch is next door with the same hipster vibe. Always a plus to have a second backup bar next door

Went here for my 21st birthday and I couldn’t ask for a better experience even if I was paid. Top notch service. Not only did they keep the drinks flowin’ but I couldn’t walk away for 5 seconds without a brand new fresh cup of water. The game of bingo kept everyone engaged and entertained the vibes were immaculate. Thank you to all staff and management for a perfect 21st.

The music and atmosphere were great. However, the service was either really good or absolute junk, depending on which bartender you got. One of those ladies had nothing but attitude; the other was super kind and willing to learn how to make new drinks. In regards to the actual drinks... their selection is absolute garbage, the bartenders are severely undertrained, and the drinks are grossly overpriced. I, unfortunately, would not recommend this place.
