Dutch Inn West

In search of a good Friday fish fry, we tried the Dutch tonight. I’d heard good things but never been. It’s a local bar with great food and super reasonable pricing. Seated at the bar we immediately got fast friendly drink service. We ordered the two piece beer battered fish fry and a couple of street tacos. The food showed up in a jiffy. The fish fry was exactly what you’d hope for, hot & tasty. Same deal on the tacos. They were very good. The bar is lively enough that you’d almost call it loud. I really lied the Dutch and we will definitely be back. Five stars for this dive bar.

Hosted my 40th bday party here and am super happy about all aspects of what I experienced. Coordinating the details with Kelli was super easy and she responded quickly any time I sent her a text with a question. We had the back room reserved and the big outdoor patio space available to us as well. Our party had about 45 people, including kids, and everything went really well. Good service. Good food that came out on time. Chill and laidback atmosphere that was welcoming to everyone. I would definitely host another party at The Dutch.

Awesome small dive bar! The fish fry on Fridays is a must. I recommend the beer batter fish although the dry rub was also phenomonal. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist/flaky on the inside with really good flavor. The fries and coleslaw were delicious as well. The fries had a good seasoning and were crispy. The coleslaw was mayonnaise-based which is my favorite. Everything came out quickly. The service was also outstanding. Shelli, the bartender, was incredibly personable and kind the second we walked in. Support local and come here. The prices were great too.

The Dutch is our favorite place. We love going for bingo!! They always have outstanding service with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Abby is our favorite server/ Bartender!! 💕 Food is great ( love getting the pizza) Highly recommended for its overall quality and enjoyable experience.

Best Bingo around. Shelli is fantastic and makes it so much fun to play. Bartenders Abby, Nene& Nick are the best. Chris is the best barback and a great guy. Dutch Inn is an all around great place to go. Always have so much fun and the atmosphere is great.

The Dutch inn is the place to be! It’s always a fun time! They have so many fun events like Trivia, Bingo, Raffles! Food is great and service always amazing! Abby is our favorite bartender/server! She’s always so nice and a fun time!

Abby,nick and and me me Awesome bartenders finally found a spot that I like and customers are great. Bartenders are great. Food is great if you’re looking for a good spot to go have a good time the Dutch in and Elgin is the best.
