Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale Show Palace, Restaurant & Bar

AquaPlex in Fort Lauderdale is honestly that place right now. You can totally tell the talent is being supported by the new owners, because the quality of the show is next-level. Like… the drag is some of the best I’ve seen in years — these are top-tier queens, no question. The performers were also super engaging the whole time — not just doing a routine and leaving, but really working the room and making it feel fun and personal. And shoutout to our server China because she was AMAZING. So attentive, so sweet, on top of everything without being annoying (which is rare when it’s packed). On top of all that, they’ve clearly put a lot of money into upgrades — the huge video screen is insane, the whole place feels festive, and it’s a serious glow-up from when it was Lips. Between the show, the vibe, and the service… AquaPlex is 100% worth it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tonight was the first night that I went to Aquaplex formally Lips. I have been to lips several times over the years, but was never very impressed with the food and the atmosphere. So I wasn’t very excited about going to Aquaplex but curious to see what if anything changed. I was really really impressed The inside is so much nicer than it was before and the food was amazing! Seriously, the calamari was in this sweet-and-sour sauce, perfectly done and really tasty, I ordered steak. It was delicious. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The show was awesome very entertaining and energetic performers. The MC was hilarious and super talented. I saw one of the best performances in drag that I had seen, which Was a very well done, Joanne Crawford, mommy, dearest, dramatic, and musical performance Well, done, Aquaplex! I wish you all the success you have certainly earned, and now deserve!

I came here on a Thursday night for Ground Zero and friends, and this was easily in my top 3 shows I have EVER been to!!!!! More ground zero PLEASE!!! I’d love to see him fill that room on a weekend!!! 😍😍

My fave drag show experience was from the Aquaplex group in Key West, so I was delighted when I heard Aqua expanded to Ft. Laudy! The production value, entertainers and food quality were superb. Hands down...their lobster ravioli is the best. Aqua is always such a loving, fun atmosphere and the best place to celebrate a birthday or bachelorette.

Just had my Saturday brunch "Bachelorette" party at the Aquaplex. We brought along my mom and 2 aunts with us. We ALL had such a fun time. The food and customer service was A+! The entertainment was electric!!! You couldn't help yourself but sing and dance along. Definitely recommended for a fun time and good food & drinks.

I made a reservation for my best friend’s 22nd birthday. It was a lil surprise, and she loved it! We all had a blast. The food was delicious, and the vibe all around was great. They made us feel so welcomed. We are definitely coming back here for a second time.

Enjoy yourself and catch a show at Aquaplex! Was just there on 6/1 for drag brunch and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Well ran; our table came already with pitcher of mimosa. They were super accommodating getting my friend pineapple juice instead (allergy to orange). Food was great, I had eggs Benedict, my friend had chicken and waffles. We ate every bite! The queens were audacious, professional and put on a great show. Different types of music/performances to get and keep the crowds engaged. Nicolette, the host; admits her humor and comedy is racy (think Joan Rivers), so FYI if you’re sensitive to that kind of humor. I give it an A all around! We tipped all the queens generously. Go support your local queens, keep our LGBTQ+ spaces open and thriving! Happy Pride.
