A shocking throwback and almost a modern time capsule—think Cruising meets the best parts of American Horror Story: NYC. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the entire complex feels secure and well-managed. The patrons were friendly and open—everyone seemed like friends. While it’s not my usual scene, it was definitely a fun and unique experience, and worth checking out now and then for something different!

I love this little hole in the wall place! The DJs are awesome....many are local but others are from all over the world. When I'm not able to be there I love tuning in online to WILMA UNDERGROUND. The bartenders are always friendly and pour a good drink! I love the leather and fetish nights. The bootblack, Scotty, is very good....he will take good care of your leather! The weekends are fun, but the happy hours are great, too! The patio is a cozy place to meet locals or share a good cigar and cocktail. Checkout the events going on each day of the week...... And, don't forget Pig Dance!!!!

The Ramrod has always been my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale. Great staff, perfect atmosphere, and always great music. The DJs play well-curated sets that always get the mood right for the night. I’ve never been to the rod and had a bad time, and for me the music is a HUGE part of it. The Ramrod is an amazing place for your classic leather, cigar, and old school bar and dance experience. It’s always going to be a go to for me, especially for the Monday Night Cigar Socials, and the constant crew of resident DJs, and guest DJs that are chosen to carry the vibes throughout the night.

Best place in FLL to hear more underground music that fits the vibe of a leather and cruise bar. A consistent and authentic melding of image, crowd and sound that south Florida venues sometimes miss the mark with compared to options in bigger cities to the north and west. It's a much needed breath of fresh air and an oasis in the area if that is what you are looking for, and if it isn't, then you have other places.

Ramrod is an absolute institution in Fort Lauderdale and stays true to its roots for a reason. It is more than just a bar; it is a home away from home where the energy is consistently right. The staff are true professionals who take incredible care of you, and the atmosphere—from the incredible DJs rocking out amazing music to the patio—sets the perfect tone for the night. Whether you are a regular or just visiting, this is the standard for a genuine, high-quality experience. 5 stars.

There's not many places around like the Ramrod. It's a no-bullshit zone with a real feel for what matters. Throwback to a time when bars and patrons could focus on the tasks at hand: Cruising and grooving. Continually the best music, deejays and vibe on the drive. And thankfully one of the only places where people don't care what you wear (or don't). A real feel of brotherhood/family abounds here - from the always amazing Pig Dance, to the best tea in the tricounty area. Sure, it's not for the faint-hearted, but if your heart is faint, why would you even be at the Ramrod? There's plenty of watered down shit to be had elsewhere. Those who know, know - It's THE SPOT. In a world of bitter fakes, thank you Ramrod for being REAL.

Fort Lauderdale’s iconic institution—zero pretension. The drinks are strong, and the crowd is welcoming whether you’re leathered up, or just curious. It’s not a glossy nightclub—it’s authentic, and full of character. Come for the music, stay for the community, and leave with a great story (or two) Definitely not your average Wilton Drive stop.
