Finally, I got to experience Miracle at The Modernist. It did not disappoint. Drinks were unique and delicious. There's definitely something for everyone. The cute little Santa shot glasses were naughty and nice shots and we got to keep the glasses. I wanted to buy the dinosaur mug but they were already out for the season. I will definitely book opening night next year to get my dino mug.
I recently visited Modernist Craft Cocktail Bar in Fresno, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The dim lighting and artistic design of the space really created a relaxed, chill atmosphere that set the perfect tone for a night out. I loved how they crafted such an immersive experience for their customers. The drinks were absolutely delicious and incredibly creative. The cocktail list was extensive, and I was thrilled to discover they have additional menus based on the type of spirit you prefer. As a rum lover, I couldn’t believe how many unique rum cocktails they offered! I’m already excited to go back and try more. The only downside—if you can call it that—was the noise level. There was a larger group in the back of the bar, and the space is pretty small, so it got unexpectedly loud. The lively chatter didn't quite match the vibe, which seemed to be more about enjoying a calm, in-depth conversation over a craft cocktail. My group of three had to yell to hear each other, even though we were sitting right next to one another. It made it a bit uncomfortable, and we ended up not talking much because it was hard to hear over the noise. Despite that, I still can’t wait to return and hopefully experience a quieter atmosphere next time!
Amazing drinks! Love that they have well developed non alcoholic cocktails that are just as complex as their regular cocktails. Also excited to see low abv cocktails as well since my alcohol tolerance is low I can now have more than one😆
Went here to see their Miracle seasonal bar. The atmosphere was beautiful, cool decorations and nice serving staff. However, most of the drinks were way overpriced for what was being served. A lot of the drinks that were listed to have a variety of ingredients (most of which sounded fancy) ended up tasting like a typical bar drink. Bottom line: overall, cool experience but you can end up spending a lot of money on drinks that you could buy for cheaper.
Being a bartender, I understand it comes the specific role of knowing the scales of how to serve proper drinks. The season is currently for that miracle christmas event. I understand there's a specific set menu for drinks. I also understand the theme is christmas. But if we break down the simplistic form of this, this is just a nice bar with a very added atmosphere. Overpriced drinks for the same type of cocktails. You could probably get the same drinks from most bars, minus five dollars for the price. Overall, this is like a specialized date event and another bar. Would love to come back after a decrease in price or better service. Paying more doesn't mean less efficiency, There's just idiocracy.
Really nice upscale modern cocktail bar. Stopped by for drinks while visiting for work. The service was great and the bartenders really take their time crafting each drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Its a small space but they have bar seating and a lounge area in the back for with chairs and sofas. Definitely a great place for after work drinks or a date night. The drinks were great and well put together. I recommend checking it out.
I stopped in for the first time last night with a friend before going to the Grizzlies game. I was really delighted by the extensive, creative menu, the delicious drinks, and especially the very friendly service and attention from the staff. (I've been to a place in Tower with a really snotty bartender and I have zero desire to return there.) My friend and I will definitely be back, as there is much on the menu we are excited to try. Lovely décor and atmosphere in a cozy spot, bringing something special to downtown Fresno. Great job, Modernist!
