Sat at the bar for a margarita and danced on the little dance floor. Bartenders were really nice, everyone super friendly. Fantastic vibes!! Cool open-air concept too, looking out onto the beach and park below. Only thing is that on a Thursday night I was the only one dancing, I was hoping for a more social experience but it seems like people mostly were there to be in their own groups! Could’ve just been a that night thing though! Still enjoyed myself 🙂

Chill laid back atmosphere to enjoy a nice cocktail or beer 🍺 with friends and loved ones. Friendly bartenders too. Food is pretty good, basic for a quick bite to eat.

Great Happiest Happy Hour with many drink choices. The Bloody Mary is great. Food comes from Teddy's. Lunch time is nice and calm with relaxing music and great views of the beach. **There are renovations occurring downstairs/next door making for very loud noise when the trucks are moving the dumpsters, but otherwise quiet.

Now this place is definitely a hidden gem. I actually enjoyed my time there. It was not too crowded. We actually got to sit down. There is live music and the artist that was singing that night. It was great nachos that we ordered tasted good and the alcoholic beverages we bought were strawberry margarita it tasted very fruity, and then there was also the Island mule, which was good. Very spacious. It’s a great setting to meet with coworkers and friends because you can actually have a conversation and the music is not too loud but you can find it. It is located across the zoo and it is also a gay bar. I definitely had a good experience here and would go back again.

Well I asked for a pour of blanton’s (sb) single barrel. The bar tender asked the other bartender how many ounces that was. He said 1.5 ounces. I suggested 2 ounces was a proper pour. She ended up pouring a shot from a shot glass. While I she was pouring she asked if I’m going to any raider games. I said I was going to the one on Jan 4, vs Kansas City. She suggested that I was wrong because the playoffs are after December. Very confrontational, I said no I have a box Jan 4th, which is one of the last raider games of the season. She got so mad and wanted to prove a point that they don’t play Kansas City Jan 4th, that she pulled out a schedule from last season and said it’s the same as this year. I went for 2 drinks to watch the band play but it ended up so hostel I left after one.. plus she poured 1 ounce and charged me full price. I went for the band and felt like it was so hostile I needed to leave. Watch out for the bartender chick with the yellow and black hair that looks like a raccoon.

Came for the drinks, stayed for the vibes. LGBT staple on the island with great views of Diamond Head and lots of seating. Shout out to my personal fave server, Derek, for always tending to us with a giant smile and playful banter 😘

This is the second home to Hula's. I've heard the original location on Kuhio was the best. I love Sunday afternoons here. It's low key and relaxed. Friday & Saturday nights are clickey and typical gay bar ambiance. ATMOSPHERE: They're located on the second floor of the Waikiki Grand Hotel. There's a big central bar, small dance floor, pool table, and window ledge seating. The big sliding windows are open during the day but sometimes are closed at night due to noise I guess. Cheap cover, and free for Hawaii residents. Open till 2am. Drink prices are average. They usually have music & music videos on the weekends; not sure if the go-go dancers are still around or if any other nights are themed. OVERALL: This place gets busy early and dies down around midnight. They advertise as having the coldest beer in town which is true. Staff are friendly.
