Jouvay Night Club

The security at this spot was unprofessional and confrontational. The dj was very good but the energy in the club was subpar, and table service was very slow, despite it being relatively empty. I wish I could have gone to another spot but Jouvay isn’t near anything fun or interesting, so there’s no real reason to come here for a fun night out

FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS!! Very unprofessional!! Celebrated my birthday there and it was a mess. !! The promotion said Reggae&Soca Music but ended up being Local Artist Performing. If you like a hole i. the wall with ratchet security then go right ahead.

We went to a social distancing baby shower at Jouvay. I really didn't know what to expect but it turned out marvelous. There was security at the door doing their due diligence with temperature checks. The place was large enough to hold multiple tables which we did not need, but were able to space out the tables appropriately. Drinks were served at the table, no standing at the bar. We also had a dinner menu and food that was served to us tableside. The bathrooms were clean. Wheelchair accessible. The DJ booth to hook up the music was awesome. The parking was not optimal for someone not living in Queens, who could uber. It is on a busy street and the industrial area is behind it. All in all great spot.

This place was trash. I expected to listen to reggae music. DJ did not Do his thing. Its no wonder the place was drad. Don't let me get started with the type of crowd. Ratchet, rachet. This place need new management. Barely any Jamaicans. I will never never ever go there again. No for real for real, if I can give no stars I would. The food though was good. If I had a spot and I did for my ppl (Jamaican) to come and enjoy themselves listening to their music, others are welcome, but im not going to changed the purpose to accommodate them alll night. Id put some other music for a short while but not the entire night. If ppl complain then let them go to another club. Go back to the original idea why u started this business. Im so disappointed I wasted money and time there.

Attended a private party. Club has nice layout and areas for seating, a stage for performances and a good sound system. It also has a small kitchen for prepared foods. Bathroom attendant gets 5 stars for keeping the restroom fresh and stocked with mints, lotions and emergency needs.
