Classic Irish pub as well as a Niners bar. Excellent Friday and overall happy hour menu. Extensive tap selection and the food was so far so good. Good fries, good fries are always a tale . TVs everywhere EVERY game was on !!!!
After thinking about it, as we walked in and sat down at a dirty table, we noticed several other tables were dirty, which should have been a sign to LEAVE. We did not. I was looking forward to watching the Ball Game. After waiting 15 minutes for some service we got up ordered our drinks and food from the Bar. I have to emphasize this was the worst service ever. Our observation, management doesn't care about the service or food. The place has lots of potential but going down.
I'm still sitting at the bar...28 min waiting on bartender to come to my end of the bar after giving me a messed up order...and 12 min since my beer glass was empty. I let people do their job...or fail at it. I've even tried making eye contact and looking around...nothing. I moved in 250 ft away today and will never return. Bartender returned and defended the mistake...blaming me even they I fully elaborated what I wanted and why nothing it came with belongs on it. Final verdict: Chicken was only half edible. 2nd half was so chewy, I couldn't bite through it. 1 hr and 42 min to get a sandwich and beer...only to be able to eat half the sandwich.
Our first time here, my son and I were beyond impressed. The food was ample portions and tasted amazing. Very fresh and tasty! I told my husband how good it was and big fish and chips, so we decided to share and unfortunately the fish and chips was a lot smaller and tasted good but fishy, I think it was a different fish this time. So I'm not sure which fish and chips is the norm they serve, still good but my husband was hoping for the large fish and chips since I talked so highly about the restaurant. (Pictures of both Fish and Chips we had, to see the size difference)
The food is so yummy here! We love the Fish n' chips and Gaelic Steak Dip!
During football Sundays, you seat 🪑yourself, it gets pretty busy, no other sports but football 🏈, it's a football watching hub for LA teams but most importantly a 49er hub, huge crowd vivid loud. Good place to watch 49er games. I ordered Dodger Blonde ales, LB Cali burger and old fashion Gallaghers burger. They come with fries/wedges. Typical bar food, nothing special.
Pretty typical Irish pub. Seems to be one of the most local place watering holes. The wings are actually pretty decent. Was hoping they had Kilkenny on tap but settled for Smithwicks. We headed out by 7 pm on a Saturday but looks like they get a solid Sat night crowd and it's a Ohio State bar for games.
