Never ate here, but the beer is cold and I’m walking distance! Pool tables exist are great and the prices are great!
Came here with my boyfriend and his siblings while on vacation a few weeks ago, we had such a great time! Our drinks were great, the general vibe of the bar was chilled out but still fun, and the bartender Jon provided us with great conversation and quick service. Definitely will be visiting again next time we are in Melbourne!
This is a pretty typical dive bar. Music. Few pool tables. Liquor drinks, relaxed crowd. If you have an hour or two to relax with a drink, it's a fine spot. Nothing exceptionally good, or bad. However the $1.50 a game standard pool table seems laughable. Apparently they have open table days/times...outside of those times it's 6 quarters a go. Not patron friendly in my opinion.
Not another bar in Melbourne that opens every day at 7am. Breath of fresh air.
This is the dictionary definition of a dive bar and it's great! Imagine stepping back into the 80s where smoking in bars was still allowed, the jukebox was always playing a good song, there was never a cover charge and water was on the house. That's this place. The place is dark and dark. It smells like old beer and cigarettes but after a few minutes you no longer notice. The people are friendly and mostly sober enough to still drive. It's actually the perfect place to hide out and probably make bad choices. Really the only thing missing is shag carpet...
This is a cozy spot. It’s not luxurious inside but it’s one of the best chill hidden spots where you can chill drink and play pool too. drinks are very affordable. I call them feel at home bar lol. FYI: they don’t sell food only drinks & some packet snacks
Went there for the first time Tuesday night with my boyfriend. Sheena the bar tender immediately greeted us upon arrival. She was friendly, organized, and kept the drinks coming. I took a spin on the pole and watched everyone perform karaoke. Will definitely be back.
