Hôtel Gaythering

Great place to stay while visiting SoBe. Tucked into a nice residential neighborhood, this boutique hotel offers a variety of rooms well themed in "industrial chic" and a great breakfast. The bar/lounge is a fun way to spend an evening, meeting other hotel guests and fellows from the neighborhood. Friendly staff and a great value. No onsite parking is available so, plan on arriving without a car or park in a public parking garage such as Trader Joes.

I was told this Hotel is the greatest for gay experience, it really was, Gaythering had it all together, the bedroom was 5 stars with a huge and confortable bed. The bar is small but I loved it since is perfect to meet new people with very good prices on their drinks (cheaper than Twist). Me and my husband had a lot of fun inside the sauna with people from all around the world, I was naughty with a guy from Italy, Colombia, Domenican Rp and Venezuela the same night.... it was awesome!!! This was my first trip solo in a long time. By the end of the first night, I had met so many wonderful friends and the staff made me feel so welcomed! Especially Hansel from the bar… such a sweetheart and professional! I will definitely be back!

The Hotel Gaythering is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms are well appointed with everything you will need. The beds are big and comfortable and the free breakfast is always appreciated. The highlight of our stay was the in-room massage booked with Alejandro as recommend by the front desk. Alejandro brings his own table and has magical hands He is always checking in to make sure the pressure is right (I love a good deep tissue massage!). I am already looking forward to our next stay at this property and booking another appointment with Alejandro

Discrimination and unacceptable treatment I had a fully paid reservation for two nights. After I had already checked in, occupied the room, and while I was showering, someone knocked on my window and told me I could not stay. I asked to speak with the hotel manager, and to my shock, it was the same person who later escalated the situation. A white male manager who was hostile, racist, and extremely disrespectful. He insulted me in English, told me he would refund my money, but that I had to leave immediately. I refused and told him the only way I would leave was if the police were called. When the police arrived, they were very kind and professional. They explained that it is private property and calmly advised me that if someone is racist, it’s better not to leave your money in that place and to change hotels. That’s exactly what I did. This hotel claims to be gay-friendly and inclusive, but what I experienced was racism, intimidation, and humiliation. Everything was recorded on the hotel’s security cameras. Please be very careful when booking your vacation here. Our community deserves real safe spaces

3rd time staying here. A nice quiet location out the crazy South Beach scene. Rooms are quirky fun, definitely not a cookie cutter hotel. My room a bistro table just outside so that was a bonus. The bar is small and fun with nightly events. Sauna is small with lockers only but a great time.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, across the board. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and the room was well stocked. The tv was not connected to any services or input. The amenities were faultless and very enjoyable. I had a great time and hope to return soon.
