Located in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, Industry NYC is a go-to spot for young, vibrant nightlife. Known for its strong drinks and lively atmosphere, this gay bar is a popular hangout for locals and visitors alike. Ambience: The vibe here is energetic, with great music to keep the crowd moving. However, it can feel a bit cold socially, which might reflect the New Yorker culture. Decor: Trendy and modern with a stylish, urban edge. Perfect for the Hell’s Kitchen scene. Crowd: Very crowded, even on a Thursday night. While it’s buzzing with activity, it’s not the friendliest crowd. Best to visit with friends to avoid feeling out of place. Drinks: Strong and well-mixed, a highlight of the experience. Entertainment: No specific performances during my visit, but the music and overall atmosphere create a lively space to let loose. Music: Great mix of tracks that keep the energy high all night. Pro Tips: Come with a group to make the most of the experience. Arrive early if you want to find a good spot, as it fills up quickly. Overall: A great spot for vibrant energy and strong drinks, but not the place to expect a welcoming solo experience. Perfect for a night out with friends.
Our group was out for Halloweekend on November 1st, and the bouncer at the bathroom groped the girl in our group upon seeing her without her consent and made repeated unwanted attempts to hit on her, even later in the night when someone was literally being taken to the hospital from the bathroom. He was creepy and clearly not doing a very good job at keeping security. The place also didn’t carry narcan for when the hospital incident occurred, which is a foolish oversight for a gay bar in Hell’s Kitchen. Seems like the other reviews about bad bouncers are true.
the bartenders are great, the space itself is decent, and it’s in a prime Hell’s Kitchen location. But the bouncers completely ruin the experience. They are unprofessional, rude, and act like they’re doing you a favor just letting you in. I’ve been to many bars in the area, and this place has by far the most unwelcoming bouncers. They seriously need to hire better, professional staff at the door. I’ll never understand why such a popular spot chooses to have the very first people you meet be the ones who make you never want to come back.
Bartender at 7:26 clearly didn't wanna be at work not friendly at all. Didn't even explain the special for Happy Hour just tossed tickets at us and walked off(Not Busy@All) first time wasnt great
This bar has the worst straws in New York, they feel like plastic but always break down mid-drink. It is SO annoying. Otherwise great time.
What an amazing night on Saturday! 💃 The music was great and the atmosphere was super nice. I had a lot of fun dancing and sharing with friends. Definitely, a place to recommend. I hope to come back soon! 😉
Went here after seeing Cabaret and I’m so glad I did. We walked in on a Kahoot game and joined in and saw a great show later on. Just a fun time!
