It’s Him

If you are looking for a spot that gets everything right, It's Him is it. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is exactly what you want from a New York bar, sophisticated, lively, and effortlessly cool. The drinks menu is outstanding. Well-crafted cocktails that are creative without being overly complicated, each one feels intentional and delivers. The music sets the perfect tone without overpowering conversation, striking that rare balance between atmosphere and energy. What really sets It's Him apart is the food. The gourmet finger food is genuinely impressive, not an afterthought like most bar bites, but thoughtfully prepared small plates that pair beautifully with the drinks. Whether you are stopping in for after-work drinks or making a full night of it, It's Him delivers on every front. Highly recommend.

Loved coming here for a quick drink and bite before a show. They were taking drink orders at the bars and while seated, which was nice. The fries and nuggets we had were yummy and the bartender was super nice. I believe his name was Josh? 🤷🏽‍♂️ it was chill and dim, a setting I always enjoy.

The vibe here felt discombobulated somehow. It didn’t feel like layout and the service made sense. The audio quality wasn’t great but maybe it was just being played past what it should the night I went. The drinks were absolutely not worth it. Watered down and overpriced. Had a long line for the bathrooms, there are more bathrooms downstairs, but that’s members only. Idk who came up with that dumb idea. However, I will not be recommending this place. It was awful.

I'm rating this establishment with 4 stars. I've come in a few times and each time the volume has been diversely busy. The few times I've been in I've ordered different classic cocktails. They were executed pretty well (French 75, Cosmo, and Vesper). My issues were that the bar top needed to be wiped down, it was incredibly sticky and there were no beverage napkins on the bar to be found. I think my biggest hope for this place is that they can tighten up service. Staff off of their phones and to prioritize service and hospitality. On another note, I do appreciate the scented air and the branded napkins. The ambiance and vibe is generally nice.

Celebrated my birthday here and had THE BEST time! The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating towards my party of 50+ guests, (especially the bartenders - they were the sweetest). Overall, everyone was very efficient behind the bar and in the kitchen, and served everyone with accuracy and diligence despite the large number of people at the establishment that Wednesday evening. That aside, this bar is the perfect vibe for the age 30+ crowd seeking premium cocktails in a swanky, but not pretentious environment. Not to mention, they have GREAT happy hour specials.

5 stars for the amazing staff, 1 star for management and the mistreatment of his patrons. I’ve been to IH countless times and enjoyed my evenings there. I noticed a shift a few months ago, with the owner steadily began making it more uncomfortable for myself and my friends (local, frequent and dedicated customers) to be patrons there. This mistreatment culminated in our removal from the bar and my friend being put on a 30 day "ban" from entering for reasons that were never outright explained or justified. Despite the professionalism of the bar staff and the beauty of the space, no place is worth losing your dignity over. I sincerely hope that management can get themselves in order so as to not run this otherwise lovely place into the ground, but in the meantime I will be taking my business to the many other wonderful establishments in Hell’s Kitchen.

Not quite sure about the other reviews, but my friend and I had a great time here. Jacob was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the drinks were great. We enjoyed the vibe, the music and the space and definitely will be coming back. My one issue is their pricing. It’s nowhere to be seen, not even on the menu or its site. So we had to ask for the price of a drink on their menus before we ordered, soooooo big advice, update those menus with the prices on them!!! (Reason for one less star)
