Whiskey Tavern

We loved it here and came 3 times on our trip to NY! They had amazing fun service, bartenders are great and they handle a crowd so well. They have food too. Great dive bar and good place to catch a game or just hang with friends.

Hands down our new favorite bar it the city. The friendliest staff , totally laid back vibe with delicious affordable drinks. We got a welcome sign and looking around so did everyone else there. I’m sorry. How cool is that! And if you’re lucky you might be there for the confetti shoot! Will absolutely positively be back.

Fun, cool place to meet up with friends! Nice touch when making reservations They went above and beyond by creating a postcard-style printout of our event. The music is solid, ranging from classics to current pop hits. Excellent service! Brian is the man! Also love all the clips and memes of the owner around the bar.

Our friends have been coming here (and other locations) frequently and I recently booked out their backyard for a Super Bowl + birthday party for my fiance. It was an amazing experience! Noah, our server, was wonderful and made the night super easy for our group! The owner, Rob, also dropped by to check-in on us. We've been to many Whiskey Tavern locations and have never had a bad time -- everyone who works there is always incredibly warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Whiskey Tavern is a true dive bar in Manhattan, and it’s awesome. It always has the right vibe. The bartenders are some of the best, super friendly and attentive. They even print out little banners with your name if you’re sitting at the bar or get there early. Such a small touch, but it makes you feel welcome. Drink-wise, they’ve got everything you’d want from a proper dive: great beer-and-shot specials, picklebacks, obviously whiskey, and even koozies to keep your beer cold. It’s good beer, good music, good people, basically everything you could want in a dive bar. Places like this are rare in the city now, and Whiskey Tavern is one of the few still doing it right.

Whiskey Tavern is a great spot with a fun, easy vibe. The bartenders are friendly, the drinks are solid, and the beer-and-shot deals can’t be beat. Little touches like the name banners make it feel extra welcoming. Always good music, good people, and a good time.
