This is a relatively new spot that has opened in Oceanside. It has a cool tiki vibe, but not the fully enclosed escapism of the traditional tiki theme. However, the opened concept is relaxing, and it works, especially being so close to the beach. The drinks on the menu are a take on traditional tiki beverages, and are well balanced and taste good. The staff is very friendly, which adds to the ambiance. There is a really good weekend brunch, which you should try. The food options are delicious, and pair well with the drinks. Food items are complete meals, and there are also bites offered. If you desire, you can try the Jason Mamoa Cock Punch, which is served in a large bronze cock. This particular drink serves two or more people. If you enjoy a relaxed tiki setting by the beach, good food, drinks, and people, definitely check it out! This is the only tiki themed spot between San Clemente and San Diego, so tiki enthusiasts, put it on the list. The location gets busy going into evening hours, so look into reservations. I liked it and I will definitely return. Check it out, grab a stool, and enjoy it. Cheers!

Great ambience. A small bar with well crafted cocktails. Good food. The bartender was amazing. Kate helped us with general information about Oceanside and made suggestions. She made us the Temple of doom, painkiller level 2 and the caribe welcome and each was exceptional. We had the coconut shrimp. The food was a great accompaniment to the cocktails.

We've been to this bar before when it was called Q&A Restaurant, which was a really unfortunate name as no one really knew what to expect and they not surprisingly closed. But this gave birth to a new bar: The Lobby Bar! It's nice to see the Yelp page has "Tiki" in the name, otherwise we would repeat history. We sat at the bar on a Friday @ 7:30pm and the entire bar was mostly empty (table were full however). Apparently someone had reserved a bar stool section but didn't show up, so we had a choice of any seat we wanted. We sat, and were shown the large colorful menu with photos of all the drinks. I love this and wish EVERY bar & restaurant would do the same. We ordered a few drinks and an the nachos: • COBRA KAI - Great rum drink. Coolest mug on the menu I think. • PAINKILLER - Very good and a lot of drink for the money • CONCRETE JUNGLE BIRD - Hard pass. This did not taste good even thought the mug itself is awesome. • LOBBY MAI TAI (+ run float) - Best tasting and strongest drink of the bunch. • THE NACHO VOLCANO - Really cool presentation! Loved the dry ice "volcano". The nachos were kinda meh, however. Staff was great, and we loved the people watching we could do from the bar. We can't wait to come back and try the others, but the Mai Tai with the rum floater will always be our first choice.

Finally a legit Tiki Bar in Oceanside! A friend had gone to the soft opening and recommended it so we went for an early dinner and cocktails. The drinks are all really good and each is fun in its own way...we tried nearly all of them and were never disappointed. We started with the Nachos and they were spectacular (and I am a bit of a Nacho nut) I had the Poke Inari Bombs and they we super flavorful. Lots of fish tacos were eaten with nothing but race reviews. We will definately go back!

Stopped by here at opening on a Tuesday to try a cocktail. I had the Lobby Mai Tai which was excellent and according to the style for craft Mai Tai recipes (e.g. Smugglers Cove). I appreciated the ester-forward rums used in the blend and also the homemade orgeat in the recipe that lent a creamy texture to the cocktail. Pebble ice was used and the drink presentation was on point. Service was kind and happy to answer questions. Theming is well done both for modern and legacy tiki bar elements; only downside on theming was that the music was a bit loud for a 3pm visit and the lighting was a little odd with the big open window up front and dim lighting in the back; understandable given the role as a hotel lobby which can’t be super dark, but maybe just brighten the whole space. Heading back soon to try another drink on the menu. Update: on a second 3pm visit the music volume levels were much lower and more pleasant for hanging out solo.

Super cute spot! Stopped by here for a drink before dinner and loved the vibe. Fun and creative drinks - 🍹mostly rum as to be expected. Decor is very cute great place for a drink. Didn’t eat here, but they had a good selection on the menu. Everything is photo worthy and high quality.
