The Other Bar
The Other Bar in Orlando presents a mixed experience for its patrons. The bar has its moments, especially during sports events like Buffalo football games, where the energy is lively and the service is notably excellent. Staff members like Bronte are often highlighted for their fun and engaging service, making game nights particularly enjoyable.
However, the service quality can be inconsistent. Some visitors have reported feeling unwelcome due to unfriendly interactions and overcharging issues. The enforcement of certain policies, such as those regarding complimentary items, can come across as harsh. Additionally, the bar's operating hours and event start times may not always align with what is advertised online, leading to some confusion among patrons.

Customer Reviews
The Other Bar has a rating of 4 out of 5 based on over 111 reviews on Google
I had a really disappointing experience at The Other Bar. The service felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily hostile from the start. I grabbed some of the complimentary popcorn while drinking water first (I like to pace myself before ordering alcohol), and was told I couldn’t have popcorn without buying a drink. I was aware since that policy was CLEARLY posted, and the way it was communicated felt rude and confrontational. Later, when I was ready to order, I asked for a dealer’s choice cocktail and gave coconut as a base. The bartender initially seemed friendly, but after another staff member came over and whispered to her, their demeanor completely changed. They began laughing, and the energy shifted to passive-aggressive and dismissive. When it was time to pay, I was repeatedly asked, "Are you going to open a tab?" and then "Give me my money, I need my money," in a tone that felt aggressive and unnecessary. The drink was $15, mostly ice, and not worth the price. Despite the poor service, I still tipped generously. Overall, the experience felt cliquey, unprofessional, and unwelcoming.
The bartenders will overcharge you. My bank account flagged the double charge luckily. When I talked to other guests there that night they said they were overcharged immensely. $240 for drinks that should’ve been $80. Other times I’ve been there I will put a $20 bill down for a $6 beer and they just won’t offer change. It’s been multiple occasions now. This place is a scam. Don’t throw away your money.
Was in Orlando and was looking for a place to watch Bills game, came across The Other Bar, had a great time watching the game and everyone there was amazing. If your a Bills fan I highly recommend checking it out. Look for Bronte she was amazing and definitely made the game even more fun, Awesome service, fun and full of life. Bronte will definitely be the one I look for next time I’m down.
GO BILLS..... This is the spot to go for Buffalo football.....I promise.
Every time, it's excellent. The bartenders know their stuff, they know how to have fun and people watching at the bar is always fun.
Online it says they open in the afternoon. Came for the open mic with a sign-up of 8 and the show starting at 9. They didn't open the doors or acknowledge the patrons showing up before 9pm to say anything even after seeing them through the glass door pulling on the door.
