I am staying at the Ref Lion Hotel in Pasco, Washington and decided to eat dinner at the Grizzly Bar located inside the hotel. The Grizzly Bar menu had several options that caught my eye, but I decided I wanted the Blackened Salmon. Everything about this dish was great! The presentation was simple but made me want to immediately dig in and enjoy the promise of some excellent food. The taste of the salmon was scrumptious. I particularly enjoyed the crust that the blackening gave the fish. The crust was very lightly done, but provided a slight crunch. I also enjoyed the vegetable side of broccoli and carrots. Two of my favorites! I’m not that big of a fan for wild rice. I normally just prefer steamed white rice, but this time the wild rice was a great complement to the salmon. The service was a little slow, but the staff was swamped with almost a full house. So, with that in mind, I believe they did a great job. Even being so swamped they were all nice, polite, and professional. The decor was thick wood with an obvious bear motif. There is a huge floor area to provide a nice dance area for the dance nights.

Super cool staff. Brooklyn, Kayla, Jenny and Mercedes were super welcoming, had great recommendations on the food and the drinks. I travel a lot and have been to many different hotel bars and this is by far my best experience. Thank you and your staff for such an amazing stay!!

We went to Salsa Lady's Night it was a great time the dj played some good music. The bar tenders were fast with the service and it was a fun and really safe place to let go and not worry but dance.

Nice looking place. Wife said burger was ok but not like most she’s eaten. I had the cheese steak and even though the steak meat was good, the bread came out like they soaked it in water before putting the meat in. The cheese was like they just opened a can of velveta and dumped on it and we couldn’t even eat our fries which had the most salt on any fries we’ve had. Almost like the salt shaker lid fell off and the cook decided to go ahead and serve them. Terrible and would think a place like this would hire a professional chef but if staying here again, I’ll go eat out. Saw a good review here on blacken salmon which made sense since all the chef needs to do is burn the fish.

After over 30 minutes of waiting (we were the only people ordering food there) the food arrived in to-go boxes, and we were quickly ushered out the door. They might as well have just said "get out" because at least that would have been honest. The food was, without exaggeration, the worst I've had in years. The pasta was drowning in oil, and was entirely inedible (see image). Took one bite and threw it out. This place is circling the drain, and the employees know it. Avoid like the plague.

Food is usually very good. I've had almost the entire menu over the past few years. Meet another of interesting people.

I stayed there two nights. And partied at the Grizzly Bar. Lisa one of the bartenders was exceptional and attentiveness in a most professional way. And i swear the three long island ice teas were the best I ever had. Thank-you it was fun. I'll be back sooner then not.
