City Heat

We went on a Wednesday to check out the Christmas decor vibes. Boy did it deliver. The place looked great. It quickly filled up and everyone was festive and in a holiday mood. Bartender was great and drink specials were appreciated! Will be stopping in again this month to enjoy!

Good local dive bar with friendly staff and good prices. They have Butch’s pizza and some snacks too (no full food menu.) The outside patio / beer garden is perfect when the weather is nice.

Lived here forever & just learning about the place. Great stop for a group, couple date night or a few friends. Place is clean, bartender is very attentive and friendly, great specials and prices on drinks and especially this time of year a great backdrop for fun Christmas photos🎄. Not sure about day hours but evening just offered snacks & but he’s pizza for food.

Same location but a cleaner feel. City Heat is under new ownership but they did a great job of keeping the old vib. They still have the retro red chairs and tables, fish tank and 151 Cherry's. The prices are great, the place is brighter with a much cleaner feel. It is still a great bar to stop in and stay off the grid. If you are looking for a place within Peoria but want to hide out....stop in and enjoy the regulars and a drink. You will not regret your decision. Well maybe in the morning, they pour the mixed drinks right!

Used to enjoy going here, decent dive bar, even with it's sometimes weird clientele. Bartender was so unbelievably rude and disrespectful the last time we were there, we'll never be back. Would not recommend, there are plenty of much better bars in Peoria.

Repeat customer. Bartenders are great and good variety of drinks. Nice beer garden for outside smoking. Games, pool tables, darts, etc. Nice low-key place to have a couple drinks and just relax.
