Momo's

Back patio is the coolest back patio ever. Sweet urban oasis. Great art by Annna. Perfect place to escape from the city for an afternoon drink, or casual night of slow drinking. Booths, pool, lowly lit. Well done Momo’s. Definitely coming back when in Portland.

Awesome patio, 1 pool table and a couple pinball machines plus one of the better bar vending machines I've seen. Low lights, good crowd. Usually takes some waiting to order a drink, hard to get prices or a menu and the price I was charged was not what was printed.

Rude. Look mate, l can pour liquor in my own house cheaper and better. You're not selling alcohol you're selling service and hospitality. You didn't ask if l wanted Ice in my cognac, and l did not. But l didn't want to fight about it. So l drank it, and tried to talk about the alcohol collection you have there, in a friendly and impressed manner. I'm a chef. Who puts ice in cognac? After handing me a shot glass of cognac with ice in it, and you talking about how you like your own cognac heated and spiced, you and the other bar tender walked away from behind the bar, didn't want to talk and hang out or speak to me. You were both very attentive to other customers. You don't owe me conversation and a social interaction. But it would help if you even wanted me there. I don't know whom they want in the bar, but it's not me. This is the 2nd time they've acted like l walked in a private bar that is only for certain people, who don't look like me. Not really sure who they want in there, but it won't be me again. I regret both visits. There will not be a 3rd visit. Everything walls floor and ceiling are painted black to cover up the lack of a deep clean. The bathrooms were nice. They have a pool table, and a back patio. If you go there, don't expect any service, kindness, hospitality, or ability to pour drinks. Please make fun of them for putting ice in my cognac. Thank you.

Super cool bar staff. Great recommendations and a cool chill interior vibe. Bar as well as vinyl booths depending on group size as well as a rear patio area.

Great dive bar. The old fashioned were excellent. The bartenders were very engaging and fun. The Ruben sandwich and potatoe salad were delicious.

I come to Momos regularly because the staff makes me feel like family. Even when they’re busy they make time to make me feel seen and prioritized as a customer. Jake, Jules and Riley are usually the staff when I come in and they ALWAYS make me the best drinks and attend to me like no other dive bar workers have made me feel. Great food, prices, and atmosphere a go to spot in downtown Portland! Thank you Momos staff for always giving me the best dive bar experience every time I come in.

Love this spot but they lost my card and had nothing to say about it but "my bad" and "I probably gave it to someone else". "Seventeen years" working there (according to the bartender who lost my card) you would think you could trust leaving your card behind the bar. Oh well.
