Update. Former five star has lost its charm and it's humor. I have now walked out of one or two shows because of how politically focused and sarcastic it has become. I'm not sure what happened. No longer family friendly due to content on adult themes and their absolute obsession with LGBT topics. There is a difference between inclusivity, and being politically obnoxious. Do I really want to watch a improv "comedy" show about a dude having a gay affair with his boss and murder? No I don't. Further I think that several of the core cast display arrogance/we know better vibe. I used to come here often (was a subscriber) because it was a great , fun escape and every time I've tried to give them another chance over the last couple years, I walk away disappointed. If I'm trying to be objective, my evaluation would be that their cast has blurred personal grievances with society with improv. No longer feels like the thoughtful and giving art that it used to be. The charming comedy is dead. It no longer feels fun, and I'm sorry to say it because many of the cast have been my friends over the years. Just seems like the effort is lacking, the joy and playfulness had been replaced with sarcasm.

I figured Improv Broadway would be a kitschy, goofy affair. I didn’t anticipate laughing uncontrollably. I was wrong. It was SHOCKING how funny the improv here was. They do a fantastic job. I’ve been twice with two completely different casts, and both were great. Plus, it’s practically free. I can’t think of a better date night plan!

Spent our last childless night before we became parents at their show. They always do so good, if you can make it to a show... Go! They never disappoint.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much out of this show when purchasing tickets but the value and quality that you get for such a low price makes this totally worth it. I laughed out loud multiple times and my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. I am recommending this to everyone I know!
