Havana Deluxe

I'm from Florida visiting family. I guess I am spoiled . No real inventory of cigars. Maybe a dozen choices . I like the atmosphere . Good seating. Bar is ok. Bartender is ok. Not much to tell.

I like this place... There’s plenty of space to sit and relax while enjoying a cigar. Nicely lit. However, the air filtration system is either underpowered or in need of repair. Because no matter when I have gone it’s been pretty cloudy. Whether the time is 7pm or 12am. Also the selection of cigars is never really full, it’s a hit or mix. The life blood of a cigar is the cigar selection and the filtration system. This place would be 5 stars easily if those two things would be improved

Plush couches and deep leather chairs form little islands of comfort, perfect for sinking into a conversation that doesn’t need to end soon. Along the walls, humidors stand like treasure chests, keeping their cigars in stately silence. Vintage wood glows everywhere—from the bar’s polished surface to the beams above—each grain steeped in quiet history. Overhead, TVs flicker with old games and new ones alike, while dart boards wait nearby for a little friendly competition between sips of bourbon and curls of smoke. The bartender slides the Old Fashioned across the bar with the precision of a man who’s been doing it long enough to know that showmanship is for amateurs. No fancy garnish, no chatter—just the soft clink of glass meeting wood and a nod that says this’ll do. Happiness here isn’t loud or glittery—it’s slow-burning and pleasantly lopsided, like a jazz tune played just slightly off the beat. It seeps in between sips and smoke rings, wrapping itself around you like the worn leather of the chair you’ve claimed for the night. It’s the kind that finds you sitting still, glass half full, smoke curling upward like a satisfied sigh. Cheers!

Wide variety of drinks and cigars. Bartender was friendly and helpful when picking our cigar. Comfortable environment with tables and couches. One of the few places to grab an indoor smoke. There were fans and decent ventilation. It had a throwback to speakeasy feel.

Genuine old school cigar bar. The bar keep is knowledgeable of his inventory. Great selection of cigars and bourbon. Amazing local beers in tap. Had a relaxing time with a cigar and bourbon. My best stop while visiting North Carolina!

This is my go-to and the only thing of value in what has oddly deteriorated from empty nothingness into the chaos and frivolity that is Glenwood South. Shut up, I know I am old and grumpy. 5 stars.

I’ve been smoking here for a few years. I love both Mike The bartenders are awesome. The atmosphere is always quiet and reserve.
