Perfect, cozy pub. Longtime staple with the only true warm pub feel in Raleigh. Seasoned bar staff that are always conversational and treat you like family. Prices are good and the music is always impeccable.
Long time favorite pace since they opened! Great managers and staff, classic Bar atmosphere. Big fan!
We had a great time on New Year's Eve. Drinks are solid however the back area outside area is really meant for people who like to smoke.
Visited early afternoon on a week day. Love how they maintained the historic nature of this bar. Staff was very friendly. Outside seating was expansive considering how tight downtown is.
Went there for a few drinks and after hanging out with a friend for a few, the bar staff started being rude for no reason, eventually trying to force for me to finish my drink. If I did something wrong they should have simply politely asked me to leave. This was not the case, I do not recommend this place simply because the extremely rude bar staff.
Great atmosphere. Crowd was mixed demographics (a good thing! ) Beer on tap was limited selection in total number, but had a wide variety of styles. Good wine selection.
Great drinks, people, service, and atmosphere. Can’t go wrong. Also open till 2am Monday which is the cherry on top
