First visit and I was genuinely impressed. Tried a few of their ciders and ordered the 10-wing plate—everything delivered. The ciders were crisp and well-balanced, and the wings were outstanding: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily a 10/10. This place clearly takes pride in what they serve. I’ll definitely be back.
UPDATE 2: I changed my food rating to three since the owner seems SUUUPER pressed about this for some reason 🤷♀️ UPDATE: The owner asked that I Google "Mexican Nachos" so I did. The atmosphere here is what you would expect for a local bar, well decorated, TVs with sports playing, pool tables and dart boards. The staff was very friendly. I did not drink however, friends did and the service was prompt. No complaints on selection and everyone enjoyed their drinks My only real issue was some of the food - not all of it. The chicken sandwiches were good, tater tots that came with it as a side were good. I got a basket of fries - nothing fancy, they were good. I think something happened with the nachos though.. I don’t know if the cook was brand new, or what. But we were essentially served tortilla chips with microwaved shredded cheese with slices jalapeños. Which honestly? The fresh Jalapeño looked really good, it was just on a kinda sad plat of chips and microwaved cheese. I would for sure suggest this place to someone who wants a drink and your usual bar food. Would not suggest the nachos that were $9 as pictured.
The food here has no business being as good as it was. I was not expecting much, just some average bar food. Turns out, they make some impressive dishes, including gumbo that will make you feel like you're just outside the French quarter. Decent beer list, something for all tastes, and really reasonable pricing.
I love Sharky’s. They have pool and darts, computer slots, events like trivia, great food, and great service. The owner takes pride in this establishment. This is a great place to watch sports or just come hang out. This is a Louisiana bar, featuring characteristic dishes like gumbo and Abita beer. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and many TVs and projectors inside playing every football on Sundays. Come watch your next football game here and enjoy the environment.
I didn't try the food. But the drinks are good. Craft beers are cold. Lively place with screens, decent pool tables, and plenty of dart boards named after shark species. Nice place, tucked around the side, so parking isn't as close, but there's plenty in the main lot.
Great pool hall. Probably the nicest tables I've seen in a while. Good bar food. Good selection of beer. They are re modeling so some of the food is limited but I'm sure it'll be great after the remodel is complete.
Sharky’s Place in Raleigh is seriously underrated! We grabbed some Texas Tots to start—absolutely delicious, crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. I had the BLT and it was loaded with super fresh bacon and ingredients—honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. Our server, French, was awesome—super friendly, on point with everything, and just made the whole experience better. We sat out on the patio and the vibe was perfect. Chill, welcoming, and just a great spot to hang. Also, major bonus—they play the Canes games, so it’s the perfect spot to catch the action with good food, drinks, and a solid crowd. Definitely coming back!
