The Academy SF

I came here for a friend's surprise party. The venue is lovely and well decorated her reserved party was held on the first floor and lower level. The lowered level is a small cozy bar area that is darkly lit. It gives speak easy vibes which I adore. The lower level leads out to a large back yard patio space that has ample seating. The staff was very patient and friendly as some of the hallways are tight and sometimes there was a wait to pass someone. I know there are more floors and things to see here but those spaces were fr member access only. I hope to return here again. It was a lovely party space and the food was very good.

Been a member under a year, and plan on continuing for as long as I can. It's an excellent and safe space to build community for us LGBT folks and allies. Beautiful building, good vibes, open to public for most events.

This place has a Superlative LGBTQ+ welcoming experience to offer. Red carpet, white glove with Tommy being the best at the bar at the Speakeasy. He's Excellence in Motion. Management should ask him to train other employees since he's the best employee I've encountered so far. And I've been a long time costumer since 2017. I've renewed my membership just because of Tommy's Superlative customer service skills.

Amazing space to do a photo shoot. So many great spots to pose and very clean and beautiful. Has a upscale moody feel that definitely seys it apart from other spaces 2 stories of places to take photos in. Would definitely go back again and shoot here.

We hosted a private event in the upstairs lounge and it was amazing! Nate helped us make sure everything was perfect for our event and answered all our questions throughout the process.

Great Experience!!! Hosts Paul, Nate, and Kate made for an exceptional tour this afternoon. The Academy features some well thought, well designed spaces inside and out. Membership and Subscription driven, this private club is an inclusive opportunity to enjoy some of the best living in urban San Francisco.

Such a great environment and ambiance to have a drink and relax with friends. Different rooms, events, and activities keep this place interesting and exciting. The staff go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The back patio is beautiful as is all the interior decor. Highly recommend.
