Cash Only

It literally is Cash only. Don't be dumb. Great honkey-tonk vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Pros- the house drinks are great. The Apple Whiskey is delicious and diabetic friendly ( fresh squeezed apple juice and rye whiskey). If you come, look for Chaelyn- she will take care of you because she's awesome! Met Cash himself; great guy. Their store picks are tasty- I had the 107 and the Four Roses and enjoyed them both. Cons- it's Cash Only. It's literally the name. Make sure you bring cash and they dont do tabs. They dont have a kitchen, but they have nice snack foods.

Been here around 5 times to play pool, the bartender Jay is really friendly, diverse crowd. Met a lot of cool people. Had a bad experience though, some girls wanted to play each other when it was my table, they didn’t understand how the board worked. They lied that I "harassed them" to the bouncer who said his name was Presley, and I was kicked out. He didn’t even listen to anyone else around the table. First time I’ve ever been kicked out of a bar or accused of anything like this. I honestly really liked this place but now I’m not sure I want to go back.

I have been coming to Cash Only since they first opened, and will continue to stop by when I get a chance. They have a great selection of drinks at a good value, and the whiskey apples are always delicious. The staff have always been very welcoming and professional, and I have never felt unsafe. Like the name suggests, they only accept cash and they do have an ATM on the premises that has a lower fee than the other businesses in the area.

Wife and friends had a hell of a time in Cash only after the Morgan Wallen concert in San Jose. Liked the atmosphere, staff, drinks, and pool table. Wearing a Trump-Vance as "stepbrothers" tee shirt was no problem.

The Bourbon Apple cocktail is my go to but all the drinks are solid. Staff is amazing. But go for the vibe that never disappoisnts. Road house meets friendly. It's my go to spot everytime I'm downtown.

Definitely try an apple whiskey! Great local dive with awesome music. Totally honky tonk vibes. As the name suggest, cash only. Totally worth a visit for anyone in the San Jose/South Bay/Santa Clara area.

I had a wonderful time at this bar. Great music. Jay, the bartender is excellent. When I arrived, the doorman told me that he had stopped letting people in. However, he allowed me to come inside. I'm glad that he did. If you are visiting San Jose and you want to enjoy a good beer and great customer service, then visit this bar.
