This was my first time at this cocktail bar, I was planning on meeting up with friends at A2, but this Thursday 12/18/25" A2 was closed at 8p, so we walked down here…. Drinks were very unique with a somewhat Indian twist. I got a Mango Tango-something and then some "After Hours at the Tea House" coconut cocktail. That coconut drink was DELICIOUS! I wish I had two of those! Service was quick and we were lucky to snag a table. I love their light up marble bar…. Perfect y for foodie pix! Too bad it was packed with people! Hee. Since this spot is right next to the garage, I would definitely come back!
Great happy hour!! We got the Radayana on happy hour and the ChaatGPT on non- happy hour. ChaatGPT was really unique with the pani puri water and a puri on top! The bartender was very friendly and attentive as well.
This is a dive bar… that clearly went to finishing school. Up front, you’ve got Indian food doing what Indian food does best — seducing your senses with spice, sass, and absolutely no apology. Out back? A moody little hideaway where the lighting is low, the vibes are high, and the cocktails arrive dressed better than most of the patrons. The drinks are an eclectic love affair between alcohol (or not — we respect a sober king/queen) and Indian flavours that wink at you before they hit you. Think cardamom with commitment issues. Tamarind with attitude. Chili that doesn’t shout — it smirks. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for: A loud, laughing group who swears they’re "just having one," Or a conspiratorial corner booth moment with a special friend… or that "we’re not calling this anything yet" situation. The cocktails match the mood — a little sweet, a little dangerous, and just spicy enough to keep the conversation interesting. In short: it’s a dive bar with class, character, and just enough mischief to make you text someone you probably shouldn’t.
The cocktail menu is really interesting and very unique. The atmosphere is great and easy access to the industry an fast food is a plus. It's always fun. I wish they had more seating though.
Had an awesome time at Mortar & Pestle! The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. Our waitress Carmen was super friendly and attentive, and the drinks were top-notch thanks to Zack and Anthony behind the bar. Definitely one of the best spots around.
Love the little bar in the back of curry up now. Cute cocktails and vibe. Nice servers. Quiet on weekdays but quite a brief on the weekend. Have gone multiple times. All drinks have been solid
Really nice little bar directly opposite the garage. Being off B Street, it was much more calm than other drinking establishments nearby. The ability to order Indian street food from Curry Up Now's full menu was a great addition to the drinks available here, and the cocktails themselves featured a lot of unique twists on classics. There was a wide variety to choose from, and even whiskey flights from around the world to try. It was very easy to like, and everything was of great quality.
