Saturday I stopped by for a beer around 7:30 while waiting for my laundry. As I walked in, I noticed something written in chalk on the chalkboard. The atmosphere felt a bit off, with patrons giving the "stop n stare" though it might have just been me. The crowd was a mix of Latinos and older White folks, and the wait staff didn't seem very welcoming. As a Black guy, I wasn't sure if that was a factor, but I drank my beer quickly and left. Update: Your response fails to address the chalkboard message in your establishment. Now reading the other reviews it seems there's an issue with your patrons behavior, which the establishment condones. I shared this experience with my mixed-race friend today she also experienced the same when she entered folks turned and stared at her with a group of people. Her and the group decided to stay playing mariachi music on the jukebox, only to be asked to stop to avoid scaring other patrons.

Classic Rosa bar. It's been around forever for good reason. No better place for late night cocktails east of downtown. The KJ was interesting, however.

Some of the best cocktails anywhere, craft beers , local wines and friendly staff. Snacks available, they hold special food nights , lots of nearby food choices that can be brought into bar. It's a friendly local bar that embraces everyone.

Great people, great vibe, no attitude

Agree with other commentators, good prices and good pours and pretty good vibe. People bring food in and it's free on like Football Sundays. Really good. There's a little bit of a local uppitiness (so many people know each other) that can be a little off putting. For example, bartender won't look at you for an order when a "local " just walked in.

Nothing not to love about this local bar. Great prices. Great poors. And pool tables. The one draw back might be that it is relatively slow, and not the best place to meet new people. It shouldn't be because it is a great spot, but location puts it far away from the crowds.
