The Rhino Room
Accessibility in the United States offers a mixed experience for patrons. The venue features a two-level layout, with the top floor providing a relaxed atmosphere for conversations and the lower level being a lively dance area. However, the service quality can be inconsistent, with reports of unfriendly bartenders and questionable security policies that may lead to unfair treatment.
While the $10 cover charge is reasonable, the overall experience can be marred by incidents involving staff behavior and security handling. Despite the potential for a good time, the inconsistent service and security policies may deter some visitors from returning.

terrible security and policies. I was dancing with my friends when some drunk guy got mad and in my face because he didn’t like me standing behind him while I was having my first drink of the night on one of there elevated surfaces by the dance floor. he got in my face to tell me to go back down to dance floor because he wanted to be up there by himself. security saw this and instantly kicked both of us out no questions asked when clearly he was drunk and I was sober. waste of a $10 cover fee and I didn’t even get to finish my drink. i will never return.
I went on Saturday with some friends. No issues with security as long as you follow instructions and aren’t acting a fool. $10 bucks for entry. Not bad. Top floor was relaxing. A good place to have conversations. Lower level was great. We had so much fun. Knocked off 2 stars since the bartender we went to was so unfriendly. I saw him grab people’s cards and use the tap feature for them in an aggressive manner. I understand they are drunk and can’t do it but Jesus there is a way to handle customers… another instance was when someone knocked over a drink. He grabbed a rag and then pushed all liquid and ice onto the floor and onto my friend, me and the customer who dropped the drink… so unnecessary… he created a slip hazard in a crowded dance area and ruined the experience of 3 different people over a spilled drink.
A $10 cover charge to watch curiously generic mating dances set to over-clipped .wav files is a refreshingly modernist take on the "a fool and his money are soon to be parted" adage. Sadly, I was the fool, so you owe me, Alvin. Moreover, the humidity a la poor ventilation and gyrating bodies is reminiscent of Florida, and not in a good way. I guess if my self-esteem ever waned, I'd find more reason to spend more time here.
It’s a nice place, I won’t deny that. The dance floor is pretty small. They have an upstairs bar being renovated, and the downstairs has a bar and the dance floor. The music is great, the drinks are great. There’s a $10 fee to get in after 10pm. They have a free coat check. It sounds like a great place, right? But here’s the thing- the security there will kick you out if you stumble whatsoever. They’re very stingy on that. You could have a great time and feel a little buzzed but if you wobble at all they’ll ask you to leave. If I’m going to a club I want to have a good time, but if they’re so strict on that kind of thing they just shouldn’t serve alcohol. It’s a nightclub, not a daycare.
Cool atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and fast service. Music choice was very questionable and a $20 cover is pretty expensive. It was also a sausage party. Drinks taste good though. I'd come back on a different night and see if it was any different
do not waste your time here. although you may have fun for a bit, their security are terrible people. we were approached in the bathroom and told we were too drunk to be in their club even though we only had two drinks. they ripped off our bracelets and put us outside even when we told them the rest of our party was inside. also while you are trying to dance they are coming through with flashlights shoving you. bartenders are rude and unpleasant. the place has great potential but they definitely need restaffing.
Rudest security I’ve ever encountered. They checked our ID’s but made a snide comment about someone in our party not getting in, without any further explanation. (We were out for a birthday celebration but no one was conducting themselves poorly or seemed past the cutoff point..) They’d already charged half our party admission. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
