Washington Athletic Club

I love being a member of the WAC! It fulfills several important criteria for me. First, I have a sense of community here - from knowing the name of the person who takes my member number at the front door, to other staff and members that I've gotten to know in workout classes and social events. Second, the workout classes are awesome - I love Linda and George! They're inspiring instructors. Third, this club hosts fun events, and I've made friends here. Fourth, central location and parking (I pay for unlimited parking) makes this my go-to when coming downtown for work or social events. I really appreciate the WAC!

Their isn’t a better combination of networking and fitness in the city of Seattle. Equinox doesn’t compare. The culture for playing team sports amongst member is both race and age inclusive. The amenities are well cared for and you feel cared for by your membership here. Perfect co working spaces and restaurants for any meeting type

I love this club. I work downtown so am at the wac 4-5 times a week. Primarily I use my membership to play handball and lift weights. The social aspect is awesome too. Everyone I meet is kind and welcoming. You can always strike up a nice conversation wherever you go. The staff is great too. Shoutout to Chris, Z, and Dinesh in men’s fitness! It’s pricey but if you work downtown, it is very convenient. Some days I spend 4-5 hours there between working out, sauna, and grabbing some food at haggertys.

Love how organized they are. A whole building dedicated to members is like a playground! Make sure you spend the day here 🙂 Parking for members are $18 for 6-8 hours and only a black away.

My husband and I got married at the Washington Athletic Club in May 2023. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional and took care of us and our wedding guests. The catering and events team were phenomenal (thank you Dave, Katie, and Jennifer!). We had a room block at the Inn at the WAC where the majority of our family and friends stayed during the wedding weekend. We loved the amenities and the proximity to downtown attractions and the airport. We can't recommend them enough for your wedding or special event.

The hotel part had great service and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms are relatively smaller than what you'll find in most hotels but pretty consistent with boutique type hotels. Views from the rooms are decent. One of the best amenities was access to the entire athletic club facilities. The facilities are spread over multiple floors with multiple workout area (some gender specific), several fitness studios and classrooms, and several locker rooms. There is a pool and locker room hot tub. There are a couple saunas and a steam room as well. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There are also a few eateries and restaurant choices within the facility. Overall it was a great stay. Definitely worth the visit if you need a great place to stay and workout.

Awesome hotel and restaurant for members or those with reciprocal privileges. Rooms are newly remodeled. Multiple restaurant options with easy parking in the WAC garage next door. Everyone on staff has been really friendly. I will be returning!
