The 244 Spot

I absolutely love the 244 spot! It’s a great weekend hang out bar with very delicious drinks and food! The bartenders are the absolute sweetest angels and Jeff(the owner) is an absolute treasure to be around! I always feel so welcomed when I walk in! They also host great drag shows, comedy shows, and other really fun events! We need to support our LGBTQ+ bars and clubs!! Much love to you guys 244❤️

I Had an amazing night tonight 😌 I was sitting for a moment just taking it all in, and something came to mind that I wanted to share The last couple of years haven’t exactly been my brightest stretch to put it lightly but being at 244 has become one of the few constants that genuinely lifts my spirits. I’m naturally on the more reserved, observant side, and I tend to overthink social situations… but being here has opened me up more than I expected. I’ve met people who feel like real friendships in the making, and that only happens in a space that’s run with intention and heart. Thank you 244, Not just for the night, but for the atmosphere you help create — a place where people can actually relax, connect, and feel like they belong. It's not all that common, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. 🙂

Awesome place! We just moved in a few blocks away and we were looking for a regular spot. We're both gay and wanted a nice place to relax. This place def fits that, great drinks, great bartender, and great atmosphere. Felt welcome from beginning to end. Can't wait to come back!!!

Great place, inexpensive & great atmosphere. Live bands on weekends, Pool Leagues, Poker Leagues during the week. NFL Ticket, friendly bar Staff, Kitchen open late till 1:30am Great Bar Pie too!

Glad you updated your times in Google to show you're closed Mon, Tues, and Wed. I stopped by on Sunday night after the Superbowl. Didn't know it was karaoke night but now I know. Got to talk to Frank who was bartending. Great guy. Happy to say I'll be back. [Did the hours change? Arrived just after 8pm Monday night and door was locked. I'll be happy to update my review if I get a reply as I've been wanting to check out 244. Thought I'd give 244 another chance and stopped by Tuesday night. Door locked. Someone needs to update Google. Just saying.]

So I have gone to this bar twice. The first time was to see my friend perform. My drink had no alcohol. That has never happened to me at a bar before. The second time I went to perform myself. They slammed both doors in my face because I left the door open and they shouted "close the door" and slammed it very hard. For obvious reasons I will not be going back. A brought a group of people with me there and bought several drinks. It’s rude to slam a door in a customer’s face, in fact that is unheard of, because your door doesn’t close on it’s own. That is not my fault. Really unprofessional and rude.
